I had my bio appt on wednesday, no touches yet as I got an RFE for my joint sponsor's papers. So everything is on hold but hopefully I can get that remedied soon

Thats so cool that you guys met on City of Heroes. My husband and I met through Starcraft.. played coh/cov too, still do actually. so much for those people that said nothing good can come out of video games!

Totally random question, but does anyone know the best way to speak with a real live person through USCIS' phone system? I keep trying to call and always get stuck in their phone tree...my father-in-law always seems to get through, but he hasn't told us how...

Anyone know any good tricks??

If I remember correctly, I chose the option for change of address and followed the prompts to speak with a real live person......at least we think they are alive.

Dropping in to say hi for the first time as an AOS applicant (well, my husband...). We were married on August 16, went on our honeymoon, and finally got our stuff together (there was a huge delay with the priest actually filing our marriage certificate!) to send on September 8.

We've received all of our NOAs and he has his Bio appointment on Wednesday. Friday, we got word that our I-485 was transferred to the CSC, which I guess is good news, because sometimes interviews are bypassed there?

The biggest hiccup thus far was that I sent the EAD on the wrong form (they all look the same, meh) so that was delayed by a week after we received a Rejection Notice. Bummer cos we're hoping to get him working again, but hopefully before the holiday season.

Hey! update for us: Ricardo's Biometrics is on 10/21, which sucks because I have a full day of class that day, so my hubby will be going all by himself but he feels confident so that's a good sign

We got our biometrics in the mail today, received 10/06/2008

does anyone know if I can go earlier and walk-in and take the biometrics or I have to wait until my appointment date because our local office is about 2 hours from where we live and it's the closest and we don't just want to go and be turned away. Any help is greatly appreciated, hope everyone's process is going as smooth as possible

hi, i know that u can do walk-in for biometrics..

but then some people says it depends on your local office..

i suggest you call them to be sure..
