okay...so while I pray that our address change went through because we are approved now, I have a couple of questions:

1) Once my wife gets her EAD, do we go to the Social Security office to get her name changed on her card and get the "vaild with DHS approval" taken off?

2) What does the Travel Document look like? is it a card like the EAD?

3) What info is on the EAD card?

1: you can go when you get the EAD, bring the marriage certificate and all the other stuff (passport etc) and they will change the name and remove "valid with DHS Authorization". They may make a photocopy of the EAD, at least they did for me, because even after 10 days I wasn't in the system... which doesnt surprise me. and they will do a manual check with DHS (if you're not in their system)

2: Travel document is two identical papers, it says you're approved for travel, lists any conditions etc, and has your picture on the bottom.

3: the ead is a a card, had your picture, name, fingerprint, and signature on it and date of validity... a barcode etc.

Intimacy, like charity, begins at home. If we cannot be intimate with ourselves, we have no way to bring to intimacy with another person.

Intimacy with ourselves takes time. We need time for rest, time for walks, time for quiet, and time to tune into to ourselves. We cannot completely fill up our lives with activities and become intimate with ourselves. Nor can we just sit quietly indefinitely and become intimate with ourselves. We have to have the time and energy to be our lives and to do our live in order to establish and intimate relationship with ourselves.

Surprisingly, as we become intimate with ourselves, we discover our connection with others

Okay everyone, thanks for the pep talk...

i will try to give them a call tomorrow or Friday... i'm just nervous that we will get a big fat RFE and we've been waiting so long...

if they transfer your case to CSC, does that mean the EAD documents are also transferred to CSC?

Thanks, everybody!!

Finally, things are moving! I received an e mail for my AP. Approval notice has been sent!!

Frankly I don't really care about the AP, without EAD and a job I can't have the money to go back home ^_^

But it's still good, I hope they'll do my EAD tomorrow!!!

I could be wrong, but I believe that NBC (National Benefits Center) is responsible for adjudication of associated I-765 and I-131 applications (filed with the I-485 or separately), therefore they won't get transferred over to CSC

if they transfer your case to CSC, does that mean the EAD documents are also transferred to CSC?

Thanks, everybody!!

Thanks Envy_me, i saw the disaster and was scared it ll take like forever, but you performed the magic again and put us right back on track you really are a ninja.

Thanks for the good job.

Mamanda,

Congratulations on your approval.

Now a little Observation, we really didnt hear much from those who went for interviews either good or bad except for Annie who took time out to write, not even from those who went today.

Is Uscis being mean? Is it harder than we thought? Well since being transferred to CSC doesnt mean you are guaranteed of not having interviews i was kinda wanting to hear outcomes from the early attendees of the interview.

Sincerely y'all i hope it went well and that they are granted fast!

Hello all,

My interview was today in Seattle... I'll know the result in "two to three" weeks. It all was fairly pleasant and relaxed - she asked a few general questions, looked through our photos (kept some). It took slightly longer than otherwise, as me and my wife don't have any shared bank accounts - so we had to answer a few questions seperately. She asked us a few things like:

Is there a clock in the bathroom?

Do you have any pets?

Which side of the bed do you sleep on?

Where is the mailbox?

What did you eat for dinner?

All pretty simple, really.

Anyway, all we have to do now is wait :)

Hope you'll get your GC soon!!!
