Got my EAD just now. I thought they send out a notice to tell you it's been approved and in the process, but never got that. Just got a "Here's your card" letter. Now I gotta figure out the next step Grats to everyone who got it, and everyone waiting, hang in there.

We just got the EAD card today on the 15th in the mail, along with lots of Christmas cards!!

I hope I get my EAD and AP same way this week. They have not touched my applications after biometrics.

Hi friends.

I just got back from the infopass appointment at the local office.

There were soooooo many people there and more people were coming. I had to wait more than 2 hours to talk to an officer...

Anyway, I got a very nice officer today at the appointment.

I was a little worried whether they tell me to come back again because it is just a day after my 90-day waiting period was over.

But, she did not give me hard time at all. (I guess some officers tell you that it is normal to take more than 90 days... She did not tell me this either.)

She told me that she would send an e-mail to the service center to speed up the process of my application.

She made sure that they have my current address so that the card will be sent out to the right address.

She told me that I should receive the card within 30 days and if I do not hear anything from USCIS, I should come back for an appointment again.

But, she said the e-mail should work.

I also told her that I placed a service request about two weeks ago and has not heard anything from USCIS.

I gave her the paper with the service request number on it, so I think she included that in her e-mail.

I also called national customer service center earlier to follow up on the service request that I put on two weeks ago.

The representative puts in another service request for me.

Referring to NOA date, she first told me that it has not been 90 days. But, once I told her that I talked to one of their supervisors last Monday and she told me to call back today because this is my 91st day, she understood it.

Anyway...

I did all I could do at this point to push the process of my application.

I really hope that the officer's e-mail triggers approval on my case. Well, I just have to wait and see.

If I do not hear anything within like 2 weeks, I will get an ombudsman involved.

Still no news on our end. My husband and i will call to ask for our interim ead tomorrow (92 days), and we have an infopass for 29 December.

I got an early Christmas gift! My AOS interview is now scheduled for February 10!!

My only concern now is the interview itself..... My wife is, how shall we say, a tad sassy/sarcastic/evil. If you've seen that Korean movie "My Sassy Girlfriend", I definitely see my wife in that character. I just hope I can reign her in long enough to get through the interview.

Hello,

Ok, so I am now TOTALLY lost regarding to what USCIS does with my case.

So, on November 20th, I gave my biometrics AND I had the GC interview.

The interview didn't really go well because they lost the brown envelop containing my confidential personal info.

As they were supposed to get back to me and they didn't, I called them a lot.

They finally said that I had to wait some more time to know what is going on with my GC.

They however said that my EAD got approved on November 17th.

However, since then, my biometrics apparently haven't been processed yet, and so they cannot issue the EAD card, even though it has been approved. I called them to complain and they put a referral number to make things move.

That was on december 18th. And today, I just received a brand new letter for a new biometrics appointment!!

I already passed the biometrics!! Why on earth would I need to go pass another one????

Has anyone experienced the same problem?

I am soooo tired of them! First the lose my perso info and medical examination and cannot approve my GC. And the don't even bother telling me what to do to have my GC approved. Now, they mess something up with my biometrics and I cannot get my EAD even though it got approved over a month ago?!!
