The London Embassy received my Packet 3 docs or so the Royal Mail says. Unfortunately, their website says that I cannot view electronic receipt for another 72 hours!!! How stupid is that when considering I paid for next day, before 9am delivery. If I wanted it to travel for 3 days I'd have sent it by normal mail So now I need to call DOS again to see whether the Embassy really received it or not.

And I've just ordered my wedding dress!!! Only £67 (including delivery). The best part is that I design it myself and will be delivered in 10 days!!! I can't believe we are almost there.

ok guys---this is it! the amber/ dima interview is tomorrow! technically, he'll be going in tonight around 1:30 a.m. EST. i'm going to sit on my laptop all night refreshing skype and my email cos we have no idea if and when he'll be able to find internet. wish us the best!!!!

interview passed! the officer asked him very few questions...looked at zero evidence, asked nothing about me or our relationship, and he picks up the visa in the morning! it's an amazing feeling, but still will not seem real until he's here. good luck to those who are still waiting!

My interview didn't go quite as well, they are requesting a notorized affadavit for child custody, even though I have all the UK docs and a lawyers letter, but they weren't enough! Hopefully by the end of next week i will have our passports back with out visas inside!

So sorry Kirsten that you had a difficult time at the interview! How annoying and disappointing it must be to be so close and because they had a bee in their bonnet you didn’t get your visa. I know you'll sort out the paperwork they've asked you for but it would have been so much nicer if you could have left your passport with them. I'm really sorry for all the hassle you are going through now...

My medical went well. I got there almost 40 minutes earlier than I should have come but the nurse let me in to wait inside (I was the first one there). And the blond receptionist was nowhere in sight . She did turn up later on but was really nice to me, so I won't be complaining. Although I need to go back to my GP because the nurse forgot to add that I have an immunity to Rubella. More hassle…

What is bugging me now is that I phoned DOS just now trying to find out whether the London Embassy received my packet 3 yet (should have been there by 9am on 21st) and they said NO!!!! So now I don't know whether they haven't logged it in yet or whether it was lost. Royal Mail says it was delivered but I don't trust them all that much since I’m still waiting for an electronic proof of delivery (hasn’t been 72 hours yet). And I can't phone the expensive line through Skype. Booooo!!!!

How is everybody else doing? HG, are you out of AP yet? AmberL, have you received an interview date yet?

Ha, the nurse messed up or vaccination history too, she ticked age inappropriate for a few vaccinations that i have had! I have the original records and serology reports so I have left it, I can't be bothered going back to them. I got my x-ray back today too....and although you were blasted twice, mine was over exsposed, so looks like we both got a good dose!!

see i told ya you'd prolly have an interview date before me even though you were held up with getting the NOA2. Should be a great day to have an interview, its the day after my bday. You must be soo excited, thats like 3 weeks away
