Hi all! Well, I finally got my packet 3 after 4 weeks of the London embassy ignoring our case from NVC! I sent the forms back right away as I had them ready for weeks! I had to email the London embassy this week to tell them I am moving (I know, crazy to move so close to emigrating!) and requested the earliest possible interview date or cancellation. I called DOS earlier and I have an interview scheduled fro April 23rd, so two weeks time! I'm nervous but excited now!

We have also booked out flights for June 26th as I found a good deal I just couldn't resist! Fingers crossed it all goes well!

HG, do you know why you are in AP?

it's funny- you and i have almost identical timelines. it's coming soon!!!!! good luck :star:

omg kristen sooo happy to see you got an interview already!!!!!!

From what i have seen in other threads asking for the earliest date possible really does pay off!

Thanks! It was a shock actually to get an interview so soon, everything else has taken me longer than most!

question 11.

''that i .....intend.....do not intend to make specific contributions to the support of the person(s) named in item 3.

(if you check ''intend'' indicate the exact nature and duration of the contributions. For example, if you intend to furnish room and board, state for how long and, if money, state the amount in United States Dollars and state whether it is to be given in a lump sum, weekly or monthly, or for how long)

And 1 more thing......in the very last section, the Oath or Affirmation of sponsor.... just near the end it says ''My commission expires on________''

Neither of us has a clue what that means at all.??!!! any help would be greatly appricated.

1.I do not intend (that's the easiest)

2.they want u to notarized Affidavit of support (I heard the new one does not need to be notirized)

ok, so if he writes ''do not intend'' does that not mean he wont be supporting me/??

In case you haven't dealt with this already, in VJ's header, there are number of links and one is for example forms. Click on that and find under K-1, I-134 and have a look how they've answered. My baby is sending me two copies of I-134 one with "yes", one with "no" answer so they can pick which one they want. :)

Thanks, i'm just waiting for the inventory clerk to come and check the flat before I head up to my parents for the next two months! After the carpet cleaner left at 10am, I found the time to pop to the solicitor and get the letter I need! Wow, although it cost alot, I'm so happy I managed to get it done. As a bonus, my police check for work (not the visa one, got that) has been delayed so I can't start my new temporary job probably until next week, which is great, I seriously need a break haha!

Probably, not..:(..it took us 5 business day to get our visa. It depends of the region where DhL deliveres and how often. Where in Belorussia? If it's Minks, you are looking at 3 business days.

also, have you booked a ticket yet? you know, last min things are awfully expensive.
