Not a sausage, Kirsten. Slow week for VSC. No approvals on Friday at all. Maybe they'll speed up next week as we near the end of the month (I'm hoping they have monthly performance targets they need to meet ;). Well, one can hope...).

Don't tell me London hasn't logged your case still? Have you thought contacting the congressman again? It seems to be general consensus that they can help more at this sage than when the case is still at USCIS. Anything is worth a try now.

Good luck.

i hope it is going to be this week today in my 6 month mark :(

So sorry you are stuck @ VSC as well. I think this waiting would be easier to bear if they'd only tell us why we are waiting so long while the others, who have been waiting 2 or even 3 months less then us, are sailing through.

Hope you are right and approvals start pouring in next week.

Good luck everybody.

OMG..guys...so sorry to see for Kat & Allie , that you are still waiting. come on! Have you tried congressman?

I came back from Russia- it was winter there, here in DC, we are hitting +15 today:)

Had an amaizing time,...

but what's going on with you, guys? Why are you still waiting?

The highlight of the trip, of course, the charge in Marriott Grand in Moscow for 2 cups of coffee - 16 USD:)

Well, I’m sort of hoping that the approval is just around a corner but am not holding my breath that there will be any change in our online status any time soon. After all, they still have 2.5 weeks to go till the 60 days after the RFE expires.

The only consolation I'm finding so far is that, unfortunately, there are people out there who have been waiting a lot longer than we have. I don't feel so alone. Wish I didn't have to be in this waiting game but.... Wouldn't have been if people were doing their jobs right. :innocent:

But thanks to VSC my jewellery making is improving with each passing day and people seem to like it enough to buy it. And since I enjoy it as well… :)

It occurred to me yesterday that if we don’t get approved in couple of months, I’ll need to buy all new summer clothes since I shipped all my summer stuff to Florida last year. We thought this would be my last winter here but at this rate, who knows?!

Hi to all!

With hope to come here and find out more positive news, but I see you are still waiting for NOA2 :( And only you and Kristen are keeping chating on this thread.. all is gone:(

I hope USCIS will approve you this month.. :innocent:

Ok, this is getting a bit ridicilous...a month at AP? What's up w/that?

:bonk: Did you get to write letters? You got a child for Christ Sake, what are they checking there?

The baby misses his father...

CONGRATS my medellin on getting your NOA2!!!!!:dance::thumbs: FINALLY!!!

The longest wait of your life is finally over. So happy for you. (Being slightly selfish here in hoping it means good news for the rest of us as well).

Hopefully the rest of your visa journey from now on will run smoothly and be problem free.

Good luck.

Thanks for stopping by and thinking about the rest of us. I appreciate a lot since I'm the only active poster in this thread left unapproved so without you guys stopping by every now and again, I'd be talking to myself. :innocent:

We've been saying come on VSC for ages now with no success but maybe this week it will be it. We tried congressmen with no luck as he said we are still within 60 days of RFE processing time (still got 2 weeks to go) before they'll do anything. I'm really fed up with all this bureaucracy.

So glad you had a fab time in Russia but I have to say it was brave of you to venture there at this time of the year. Couldn't drag me there before July for anything ;). But you obviously had a very good reason to go. Glad you survived the chill :).

And next time go to Holiday Inn for a coffee ;).

Glad to have you back.

Yes but they we expedite case for deployment. So they almost don't count ;).

I'm so sorry you are still stuck at NVC. Couple more weeks at the most (as the average seems to be about 7 weeks) and you'll be free again  . Hopefully it'll happen sooner than that. Good luck.

You know, I have one thought why you are still at USCIS. I guess they sent your case to Administrative processing. Sometimes it happens too. We are stuck at NVC and you could be stuck at USCIS.

Still no word Kat&Allie? I am on my way back from visiting South Carolina, waiting in the Atlanta airport. Missed my flight last nite and got to spend another nite with my hunnie, although I am bummed that I missed it.... I went though security in Charleston, they mistook a plastic bangle bracelet for a gun and went through my entire purse. The TSA guy asked me " is there anything that can hurt me in your purse?" I couldnt come up with a witty comment for such a dumb question. i am not sure on what planet a gun looks like a plastic bracelet.... And another TSA guy told me to go to the wrong gate... Soooo I missed my plane... Then the Delta representative asked to see my ID, I gave him my driver's license and he asked me if Ontario was in California... Finally my boyfriend got to the airport to pick me up again, and the look on his face when he saw me was absolutley worth missing the flight in the first place. I've been away since Friday so maybe my packet 3 will be there waiting for me... I hope....

Im crossing my fingers that you guys hear something this week. I am giving them until Friday before I write a nasty letter on your behalf.

You know, nothing USCIS does can surprise me any more. If they were to tell me they are all on off to a conference with Martians, I don't think I'd blink an eye to that. They are masters of excuses. The only problem is that nobody is telling you anything. Somebody in 6+ months thread just said that they were told after almost a year of hearing nothing that they are in security checks for next 180 days!!! Can you imagine!!! Some people get approved in 3rd of that! I'm not sure what we'll do if that proves to be case with us as well. We'll probably cancel K-1, get married and start all over again with K-3 or CR-1. Let's hope it doesn't come to that.

Wow, you have some interesting jewellery Amber! Interesting experience but ultimately, you did manage to spend another day with your fiancé.

Hope your Packet 3 was awaiting you on your arrival. And please, feel free to write that nasty letter any time before Friday :). Good to have you back.

Sigh no packet 3 waiting for me. I am looking for the contact info for the Montreal Embassy so I can find out if it is in transit or something. From what I have seen they take about 2 weeks to get to you in Canada.. and its been longer and I know my neighbour was stealing my mail before... So it has me wondering if she took it while I was gone...

Being back here sucks, but it sucks a bit less now that I had that one more nite with my hunnie.. I took the original NOA2 back with me and noticed that it expires july 9... so hopefully my ideal of moving by the end of July will still happen.. maybe... And at least Charles is gone to summer camp for the national Guard for the entire month of May so maybe that time will go by pretty fast... Anyways I'll still be here posting with ya for months and months to go

Thanks sweetie for keeping me company but I really don't want to be here (Sept. filers) for that long ;).

Why don't you call DOS to find out it it reached Montreal Embassy at all. Did you read Kirsten's posts about her wait at London? It must be hell being so close to getting the visa and yet so far away.

Good luck. Hopefully you'll get to the bottom of your Packet 3 mystery.
