You are the one who stayed here without approval.. but it's really time to get yours.. but we are here!! We are waiting for you!!!! I think you will be approved pretty soon!!!

 You just made my day!

Do you think I volunteered to stay behind?

Oh, you are so funny :).

But you go on, I hate the thought you'll wait for me in AP at NVC. I'd prefer you leave that place ASAP and for me, well, I'll get approved when I get approved. Not counting my lucky stars that it'll happen any time soon. :(

Thanks for all your support guys (I don't have to name you all but you know who you are). You are the best!

just give up hope. next thing you know, you'll get the approval email! :star:

I agree that is what happened to me when I got the touch before the RFE and the approval. I still have the letter I wrote, I can cross out my name and replace it with your name, elaborate about how all of us sept fillers want you to be approved, and then stick it in the envelope and walk to the post office and i bet by the time I walk back you will have the NOA2.

it will go something like this...

"Greetings from Canada the United Kingdom.....

:D

Please go ahead with the letter  maybe it will work the same way for me too. we are now into our second month since the case processing resumed but we've decided to wait till 60 days are up to start kicking up fuss since the congressman’s office won't touch it if it's still within processing time. Great help they are

I can't bear to look at Igor's list any longer... my heart break a little every time. How some people who've been waiting well over a year can stand it, I'll never know.

Although why did I expect to get the papers within 6-8 months is beyond me considering my track record with government papers. It took my parents 7 years to prove that I was born in the country I was born in because somebody decided to delete me from all government records. I'm just hoping it won't take me that long to get NOA2. Now, K-1 is another matter. ;) With my luck, the lot of you will be on your 2nd or 3rd child and I'll be still sitting here.

Nadya and Joe, are you still stuck at NVC? I really hope not.

Thanks guys for your support. I'd love to join you on the other side of the NOA2 fence but it's not meant to be just yet.

:D you are welcome! I am glad that you kept smiling :) About processing time, it takes 4- 8 months. It's long, but less than one year ;)

About us, yes.. we are still in AP :( even we don't call to NVC during the week, only on Fridays.. I don't think that we will get out of NVC till April. Right now, we are occupied with documents for my interview.. days pass quicklier ;)

Thanks Amber.

At this point I feel like I've entered Dante's Inferno last September and nobody told me what a hell this journey it's going to be. The famous saying from the Inferno "Abandon all hope, ye who enter here" springs to mind...

It truly is hell...

How are you? Has your case reached the Embassy yet?

Hopefully Joe&Nadya will be out of AP soon. Maybe they already are. My thoughts are with them... I can understand waiting all too well.

Wish other September files still left waiting would join me here.

We're sitting here W A I T I N G and it is excruciatingly painful just waiting for that piece of paper with that all important date on it. Ugh. I know everyone is doing the same thing... wondering, why can't they just pick up my file and give us the interview date??!! :pop: Instead, we just wait!

Well I called on Friday and found out that our case was sent to the embassy in Montreal on Thursday and from what I have seen with the DHL tracking thing it was recieved on Friday but I cant be sure about that. I am going to visit Charles on Friday and come back on Tuesday night so will likely begin e-mailing the consulate after that point. I am soo excited about going to visit this weekend, its been over 2 months since I was there, planning to celebrate Valentines Day and the aproval, so I have a lot planned, including sleeping in, I have been soo busy, I work 2 jobs and go to school part time so I'm getting burned out even thought it is almost the end of the term... I am crossing my toes that this week will be your week to leave VSC!!! If not... I am going to raise some heck on your behalf! And Joe and Nadya, hopefully you guys get out of NVC asap!

 Thanks Amber, it means a lot to know I can sic you on them. I'm sure they are already shaking in their boots and are working on the approval as I type :). Go girl!!

So you are off to see your boy! That's just great! One of the benefits of living in Canada, easy to get to USA. Enjoy yourself girl, you deserve it. Not much longer and you'll be together forever. Just one last little step.

Nadya, hope you get out of AP soon. I feel sorry for myself for being apart from my SO but what it must be like for you with a little baby and away from Joe... must be hell. Be strong and at least you know the end is in sight, 2 weeks at the most. Good luck!

Hi every one, I've been lost, with a lot of work, but following cases, just be patient and soon a lot of you will be getting their NOA2, also congrats to all the people that has gotten it, in the meantime, I was approved on 02/27, but been stuck on NVC since March4, and according to what I have seen on other forums, it's taking 50 days + to get out from NVC, I couldn't believe, after that long waiting to get my NOA2, now I'll probably have to wait another 6 to 7 weeks, there is nothing I can do about it, just keep calling everyday until I 'll get the good news...

Good Luck everyone..................

I havent contacted a congressman yet, from what I have seen I'm convinced its a waste of time. But I am seriously thinking of writting VSC a letter tonite. Im going to use my hello kitty stationary... trying to make it look extra desperate. And I am pretty sure they approve people who filled more recently because outlying data like the December fillers makes their average look better. I never thought that I would be close to joining the 6 month club.... Looks like there are only 3 active posters from September left. This really sucks. I hope my NOA2 comes after 3 weeks like your's Amber but Tanya's timeline makes me doubt that that is even possible. I have done everything to maintain my sanity and not think about the wait but after nearly 6 months I am almost at my wit's end. Our original plan was for me to move after my graduation ceremony in June. Taking a couple of classes at University helped me keep my mind off of everything, and now those classes are almost over, and it feels like the only thing I have to do is to wait for this to be over. On top of that my consulate, the one in Montreal is taking about 4 months to schedule an interview... And that really sucks. Everyone should have to wait about the same time, and these November fillers have been waiting for 2 less months then the remaining Sept. fillers. UGH IM SOO PISSED OFF!!! Well I think that is all I can rant about for now. I just really hope this week brings approvals for us so this thread can move to a NVC and interview status thread.

Amber, I disagree that congressmen cannot help. If anything, contacting your congressmen won't hurt you, and it may help you. I contacted my congressmen and I believe he was able to help me...within a couple days I had my NOA2 and he knew before I got the noa2 email! He also told me you can use your letter to your congressmen as supplemental evidence as well - it shows intent and that the relationship is still ongoing. Like everything else, I think it depends on your congressmen and which way the wind blows that day, but I would say its worth it to try. It'll make you feel better too!

Hang in there everyone.

Oh no! I can't believe another one of us got stuck at NVC!!! This whole process really sucks... as if we hadn't waited long enough . Really makes my blood boil.

I hope you'll get out of that hellhole before the average time. Really, enough is enough.

Good luck.
