Veronika, I have a question about NCV. Did you pay something for NVC's services? or it's just free? I know if you fill for K3 or C1/R1 you have to pay, but what about K1??

You know, about police record, here you can take it as soon as you have more money. I mean, if you want to wait for money, the price is cheap, if you need it in few days you have to pay high price. And I was surprised that you have been waiting for police since August :blink: Maybe Russia has own laws and orders for it, but to wait above 5 months, it's too much!!!!! And you know, even when I make my foreign passport in my town and the additional paper was this police report and it took about 1,5 months.

by the way, òû ãîâîðèøü ïî-ðóññêè??? èëè ëó÷øå íà àíãëèéñêîì ïèñàòü??

Happy Valentine's day everyone !!!!!!! (F)(L)

Nothing's impossible . Nothing's unreachable .When I am weary you make me stronger

This love is beautiful .So unforgettable . I feel no winter cold when we are together .

Will you stand by me ?!!!Hold on and never let me go .

Will you stand by me?!! With you i know i belong . When the story gets told .

When day turns into night .I look into your eyes . I see my future now .All the world and its wonder

This love wont fade away. And through the hardest days . I will never question us .You are the reason my only reason.

I'm blessed to find what i need in a world loosing hope. you are my only believe .

You make things right every time after time.....

Will you stand by me ?!!!

I love you so much and i miss you so much more .

Hi guys, I'm back on line again :).

AmberL, so sorry to hear about your RFE. It really sucks. First you wait "forever" for the paper copy to turn up and then when you send everything back and they "touch" you every day and still nothing... We only had to tick one little box and that was it...you'd think they could make a decision by now. It is so frustrating. :bonk:

And to think it's a national holiday in US on Monday and they won't be working AGAIN!!!! I was just wondering how many more days off will they have before we get our approvals ;)

Anyways, I am here now!:))))))))))))

Yes, yes, yes..so, we got 3 RFEs in this topic so far out of 6 or 7 of us posting?

how nice:(((((((((((((((((((((((((

Guys, hurry up and catch up w/us

Monday is a holiday, President's day, America loves holidays. America works hard and likes to make sure it rests hard too.) I am allowed to say that, because I am 50x50:) I am neither: nor American nor Ukrainian/Russian.

I grew up in this country since I was 15, so I know both cultures.

So, being experiencing both countries holidays, I can say, that US definately beat Russians in rest time, but~

not all that are resting half of the time, it's just the government, the others are working on Monday.

So, Nadya, to anwer your question: My boyfriend is from a small town Arzamas in Nizhniy Gorodskaya oblast', so guess what? they never had anybody in history immigrating further than Moscow from that town, so they have no clue what to hell to do.

I am telling u: I am like a sensation every time I came over to visit him, I could easily collect few hundred bucks just by giving autographs, if I wanted to:)))))

u know, maybe that's the idea for this upcoming visit, we sure could use the money for new place.

So, we've been waiting since August, because he thought he could do it in Arzamas, after "they" promised him he can.

but by the time he got a certificate after 3 months, it turned out to be looking different than the sample we saw, supposed to look like

So, he had to go to Nizhniy twice:)

It's definatel

It is good to see someone else agrees with me hahaha. My friends are a little surprised, but I do not understand why. I have told them for quite some time now, that I am a strong socialist. Perhaps, because they are all staunch capitalists, they figured I was joking

Although, in reality, socialists are capitalists also. Difference would be a 'control' capitalist economy and a 'free' capitalist economy.

Mmmm. Well, we are a socialist country. Maybe only a moderate socialist country compared to european socialism. As it is now, we pay a lot of taxes and our federal government provides a great amount of social welfare programs. I strongly support us going to a very strong version of socialism because as it is now, it isn't fair nor right to the American worker who pays 8,10,12k dollars every year in taxes and receives nothing from the government. No healthcare, no education, no housing assistance.

Now, just because I am a socialist doesn't mean I believe in laying down and letting the government walk all over me. I only believe that if the government is going to tax me, they need to give me something. An exchange of services more or less.

hmmmm now this conversation is getting interesting....

I didn't say I am a socialist, on the contrary.... I do have to agreee that socialism eventually will embrace the US.... It's in history, it's in the books for anyone to see that capitalism doesn't survive for more than 200 years at a time...It has happened to many countries and I believe it will happen to the US as well.

Socialism, nah...it won't work.....Take Che Guevara for instance... an Idealist who has accomplished the libertation of Cuba. and now what ?!?

But then again, I have been blamed for being a dreamer before...

P.s.: I have always enjoyed debating politics....

hmmmm now this conversation is getting interesting....

Joe :bonk:

I am only a socialist because I am tired of the government taking my money and giving me nothing in return.

I would ideally like to see a dissolution of the current USA federal government, replaced by a simplier form of federal government. One that only serves as a voice in the global scene to represent the union of states, to meditate problems and disputes between states in matters of commerce and trade, and to raise a standing military in times of war.

The current federal government is an abomination.
