No approval yet but im shaking.

i went to europe last year with school and met him on the flight home. we kept in contact all summer and took a vacation together before he had to return to BY. it was magical. in hindsight, i'm almost glad i was forced into a long distance relationship because we know so much about each other and have become stronger because of it. but this needs to come to an end soon. now it's just stressful!! thx for the support!!

very true!! i thought he was french because we were on an AIR FRANCE flight back from paris. but, i guess i can deal with russian lol. he is the most amazing, chivalrous man i've ever met. god speed vsc!!! and....i've seen some people with RFEs get approved within weeks...and other..months. but, like other posters have said...it's all my fault! i could have been approved wks ago. now, i'm paying for my own mistakes. whatever.

They are very attentive to you. Americans are different. I could not date an american guy, God knows I've tried numerous times and numerous different guys.

Lol ty, ive checked about 1000000 times since I saw it first.

Im trying to prepare myself incase there arent anymore touches for a while.

VSC picked a good day for the touch, I was pretty steamed at all the october approvals.

Joe and Nadya, your case had been delivered to Kiev, I think along w/ours to Moscow. Unless there was somebody else who was approved at the same time as you from Kiev

Hi guys! How are you doing here? Well, we are disappointed with VSC work.. it's so slowly and they have started approving October filers.. it's not fair

And about our case, you will be surprised but it's still in USCIS. We called to NVC yesterday and they still don't get our case.. and today called to USCIS, we were said that our case is still at USCIS

We don't think that it will get Kiev till March.. and our lawyer doesn't get a hard copy yet What about you???

eeeeek i got an RFE- request for more initial evidence, We havent recieved anything in the mail yet....

I am not sure what else I can send, I already sent in:

Original Boarding passes from 2 trips

2 colour photos of us together

And a letter explaining how we met.

Any ideas what else to send?

Doh, I just looked up what initial evidence means. For the longest time I was worried because I could not remember if we sent in a copy of Charles's birth certificate, this must be it. Keeping my fingers crossed that this is all it is and it doesnt take a lot more time to be approved. im thinking they prolly went and did all the security checks right away in september when we had our first touch, and the BC is just to prove that he is a US citizen right?

Sorry to hear about your delay...at least you know it won't be too long now.....not sure about the security check being done so soon?? I thought cases were just boxed and stacked on shelves until an officer pulled them....then did the security check?? Who knows how they work.....well, it seems some of them do

Hey, Amber! Sorry to hear this: seems like a lot of Sep filerers got slamed w/RFEs..sorry.

We sent out everything we possibly could. Skype, VZO (history), 12 pictures together, our divorce certs notarized, screen shots, intensity of emails, fone bills, few printed romantic letters, train tickets, hotel bills, boarding passes, my 3 visa stamps in passport, etc./

And still we were shaking after noticing Sep RFE in this trade.

Nadya, hang on!!! Must be security checks clearance. It's always a delay with kids.
