OK, the number for NVC is 603-334-0700. No idea if they are 24/7 but being a government body, I somehow doubt it :).

Oh, guys, update: as predicted, out NOA 2 was received in mail yesterday - exactly 3 business days. Just called NVC - they are open until midnight EST to assist with operatores...can you imagine? 730a - thru midnight:)

Our case had been received on Feb 6th and no info when it will be send out...just have to keep calling:)

Kirsten, Amber, Kat & Allie, hang on there! You'll get it this week, hopefully, Kirsten - for sure. Not sure about RFE - it seems it takes 2 weeks after receiving in general, but hopefully, it will be faster for you, guys!

Which state you are? NC, I think you had mentioned. Wait til Wed-Thur, the further you are from VT, the more business days it takes for the mail. Call the number above, they'll ask you names of both petiotioners and beneficiaries plus DOB plub EAC

Yeap, but I would not call every day, I'll try them again on Thu, but I have a feeling if my intuition is correct, it will be sent out on Fri, hopefully.

What do you mean what to do w/the number on USCIS?

we do hope too that our case will be in Ukraine in the end of February..

I meant, our case number ( EAC**************) on USCIS site. We checked status every day to find out if our case is approved or not.. but since it was approved and sent to NVC, so what is going on with EAC number next, with this page?

:D:) I'm sure they'll have it by then. At this point I'm hoping to get an apporval by then ... it would be nice to pass the first hurdle at least.

On the other matter, I'm pleased to inform you all that Stanley (bless him B) has taken possesion of our RFE. Although I'm sure he is just a reception/security guy at VSC but still it's good to know the RFE arrived safe and sound. No change on teh website yet so the case is still on hold. Hopefully that will change tomorrow.

ty everyone for being so supportive. And omg VSC get to work !!! (and stop approving October ppl before us >:( ) Im a really impatient person and this is really starting to get to me. I hope in the future they improve their system somehow so future applicants have a better idea of what is going on with our cases. I wouldnt wish this on anyone. I know they have a lot of cases come in each day but for the fees we all paid this service sucks. Ugh. Just getting so annoyed. Its been almost 5 months since we applied already. Everyday I cross my fingers while checking our application status, and everyday the same disapointment. Im really thankful that VJ is here because Id for sure be going insane without you all.

They approved someone who filed in JULY yesterday....fair enough they had to wait until mid August for their NOA1 but they've still been waiting since July...there is no rhyme or reason to how they select the petitions......you can't approve Oct/Nov people and then, 'oh look, heres one from July I just found on my desk', it can't be right!! Please Vermont, just approve me or touch me, anything as long as I know i've not been forgotten!! :P

I totally agree. They should not be working on any Oct/Nov petitions while there are still many outstanding petitions from July/Aug. As a Sept filler id rather wait an extra couple of weeks for all the people who filed before me to be approved rather then see the October fillers being approved. I dont want to sound selfish either because oct 1 is close to my filling date and I am happy for these people but it just makes me very disapointed in the system.
