GUYS! WE APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH, THANK YOU GOD! THANK YOU!

 You were approved yesterday and tell about it today.. what did you get first, email or hard copy?? How did you find out about it?? :)

Ok, guys, it happened so weird for us, I got to tell you. Email was received guess what time? 545am EST:)

Here is what happened this morning: I went to Russian Embassy to get a visa for my trip, and they sent me to the post office to get a money order, so while I am walking looking for the post office, I, of course, talking to my boyfriend on the phone, and it's freezing cold here in DC, anyways, as we are talking, I can't find the stupid post office, so I ask a couple of elderly people that are walking towards me and while they are telling me it's down there 15min more of walking and they don't know any other ones around the near by area, my boyfriend checks his email, and there it is...he is like"..."OH, MY GOD, guess what?"

So, he didn't even have to call me, we were already on the phone:)

But it's so weird, because we checked last night (my night, his morning today - and nothing), so the actual email, as we calculated did come at 545am EST * his time - 1345p .

Go figure!:)

Good luck to you all!!! It's coming when you least expect it....

so early???? :wow: I really don't understand how they work

in any case I am glad for you!!!! Please Vermont be good to us :innocent:

I agree. It seems the VSC is churning September petitions nicely now. with any luck we'll all be fone by the end of this month.

As for me, I'm still waiting for the stupid paper copy of the RFE to turn up. Getting really cross with the speed of the postal services there :ranting:

Good luck everybody.

Woots, VSC is now done over 50% of Sept fillers (on VJ)... Maybe everyone who works at VSC will have a nice relaxing weekend and they will return back to work on Monday and approve us all..... Im really starting to wonder how many people on Igor's list are not active and simply havent updated their profiles and actually gotten a NOA2. Ugh I want my NOA2 soo bad :(

I have noticed the same.. and some people don't come on VJ anymore since creating their profiles or come some years or months later.. I am sure Vermont is back to his past fast speed and we will get our approvals soon! Let's hope that next week is our week coz it passed enough waiting time!

Good luck to all you guys! :)

Where are the Friday approvals??!! I'm still 'untouched'! I guess I can stop obsessing now until Monday :P

You can obsess all day saturday 'cause they work saturdays too!

Oh yes they do don't they?? I wonder what their working hours are normally?? I have applied much thought to this, when do they start? Wjat time do they finish...now they work Saturdays too! Oh, my other question...how many people sit approving applications all day?? And how does their filing system work...I think things are placed in boxes so the most recent is on top...therefore gets selected first and approved before the older files lower down!! Am I OBSESSING AGAIN?? :help:

guys, hang on there! You know what I am thinking? Maybe congressmen had anything to do w/our approval, he might've or he might've not. Because our case was not a simple one - both previous marriages - he had been married once before, I had been married twice before.

Hang in there.

Hang in there.

it doesn't depend how many times you were married before.. we hired a lawyer and how we were said USCIS pays attention AOS, if you are single currently and criminal records. And additional papers and forms are just bureaucracy.
