Yeah there are so many CSC Sept filers got their NOA2 ..

it seems like Vermont is so slow now .

and we thought that California is slow duh :crying:

i think our time is coming we just have to be patient and keep paring for it

I guess its what I deserve... When I first joined VJ I was so excited to learn that VSC ws faster than CSC- so yeah- its biting me in the ###. On the positive side- at least they're finally getting they're turn!

So, For sake of other conversation while we wait. Where is everyone from? How did you meet your hubby?

I'm from Buffalo and I met my guy during my second week as a Peace Corps volunteer in Guyana.

Dear VSC Sep K1 filers:

Just shocked at not seeing any movement whatsoever in the K1 dates. Had seen Aug 15 in early December when I was about to travel to meet my fiancee and was hopeful that my NOA2 might come in by the end of December and here we are stuck at Aug 10 when CSC has steadily moved up to Aug 25 from early July in less than a month. Anyone know what is going on at VSC ??!!!??? :crying:

Timeline for K1 visa

9/11/2008 – mailed I-129F

9/12/2008 – Received at VSC/NOA 1 sent (mail stamp-9/16)

9/15/2008 – check cashed

9/19/2008 –Received NOA1

12/28/2008 – Received NOA2 Approval email from CRIS

01/06/2009 – Left NVC for Mumbai Consulate

01/07/2009 – Received NVC confirmation letter in the mail

01/08/2009 – Mumbai Consulate received file electronically and sent packet 3 (info from DOS)

01/10/2009 – Mumbai Consulate received file (hard copy) from NVC (DHL tracking)

01/19/2009 – Overnighted packet 3 (still did not receive receive pkt 3 from Mumbai)

01/20/2009 – Packet 3 arrives at Mumbai Consulate

01/23/2009 – called DOS and was informed that packet 4 has been sent and interview date set.

01/24/2009 – Received hard copy of packet 3 (postmark Jan 20). Too late. Already sent packet 3 on Jan 19.

02/02/09 – Received Packet 4

02/04/09 – Submitted documents at the VFS Kolkata Office

02/06/09 - Medicals completed

03/02/2009 – BIG DAY, i.e., Interview Date

03/03/2009 - Visa received in mail

04/09/2009 - POE

04/17/2009 - CIVIL

6/16/2009 - Mailed AOS package

6/19/2009 - NOA1

7/08/2009 - AOS transferred to CSC

Note the Bah-Humbug! This really sucks!!! I think thats why we have been so quiet- to have so much hope and then have it taken away...I 've been steady watching CSC give more and more September filers NOA2s... and I feel so desperate! This so ridiculous- no word nothing!!!!

I am from NJ I grew up here and lived here all my life. My fiance is from Romania, I am half Romanian and Half Hungarian... I have been going to visit family in both countries over summer break since I was little. I met my fiance two summers ago and we fell in love. I visited him another 3 times counting now, I came for Christmas break. :) He asked me to marry him back in august it was really romantic I never expected it :) Im just waiting for him to finally come to my home so we can start our lives together.

My K1 petition at VSC was approved today :thumbs: . Got an automated email from CRIS. Really excited :dance: . My NOA1 date was Sep 12, 2008. Good news for all Aug/Sep filers. You all should see your approvals soon, too I hope.

Could not have gone through process without this community. My sincere and heartfelt thanks to all for your support and encouragement. Excited. Don't even know what the next steps are. The good news is still sinking in as I write this. Have updated my timeline.
