First Time Immigrants Airfare Discount?

Hi,

Sometime in the past (can't remember when or where), I read that some airlines give a discount for First Time Immigrants to the US (this was from the Philippines). Does anyone else know or have heard about this? If so, which airlines and how much discounts?

yup its true..i made a reservation today..PAL(philippine airlines) give discounts to 1st time immigrants..i got mine for $644 one way excluding the travel tax and terminal fee...

I was a year ago, but my wife was able to get a "Welcome to America" fare through Northwest Airlines that saved us about $600. Her flight was out of Guangzhou China. You'd have to check to see if they have a similar service out of the Philippines. She had to show her K1 visa in order to get the special fare.

My wife and anak got about 20% off for first time immigrant discount flying PAL Mabuhay. You have to bug the agents to get it tho as some say no such thing.
