Can go on the Circle Line to Notting Hill then change onto the Central Line and get off at Marble Arch.

Or go on the Victoria northbound to Green Park, change there onto Jubilee Line to Bond Street. You can then either walk from Bond St or get on the Central line to Marble Arch.

For your second question, I'm not sure but I'm sure there is no harm in taking both.

Don't go this way! The Circle/District Lines are always ###### up.

Or go on the Victoria northbound to Green Park, change there onto Jubilee Line to Bond Street.

This is the way to go.

Definitely take 2nd option - Victoria Line northbound one stop to Green Park, then Jubilee Line Westbound one stop to Bond Street. Ten minutes max. Circle Line will take you half an hour!!! Embassy is then a 5 minute walk from Bond Street - don't get on the Central Line to Marble Arch from Bond Street you will not save time, the Embassy is the same distance from Bond Street and Marble Arch.

The first option did appear a bit longer. The TFL site is supposed to give you options and how long they take but it was only showing bus times when I checked.

The only journey I ever do to London is to Westminster for work, so if you only want the tube route to see the Houses of Parliment and London Eye etc I'm your woman lol.

Well when we took the tube to Bond street we walked outside and there was a giant map that had the US Embassy on it, we knew we would be there pretty early going down from Scotland and after a 8 hour coach trip we really just wanted to eat breakfast and stretch our legs!, the directions were perfect thanks guys.

I was wondering what the best way is to get to the medical do we head back towards bond street?

I personally would get the Victoria line and get off at Oxford Circus just for the simple fact you won't have to faff around getting connecting lines. You can walk down Oxford Street and cut down a couple side streets to the embassy...it'll be a 5-10 minute walk. If you have never been to Oxford Street maybe get the connecting tubes....but you will still have to walk down the side streets to the embassy...and it will be no quicker...just get an A-Z for those....you can't miss the embassy though, its enormous :D

The medicals for US visas are only scheduled for the Bentinck Mansions address.

Oh ok, it just says on their website they will let you know when you make your appointment whether your medical examination will be at the Knightsbridge office or Bentinck Street branch.
