Good morning and happy Thursday all !

I am so jealous of those of you with fall weather, its supposed to be 97 here today and hasnt rained for months. what I wouldnt do for a cool rainy day....sigh.....

Good Morning Mena!!! Boy what a cool day it is here, rainy too. But we need that we haven't had a good rain in a while. I am just sitting here watching my dog get stressed out by the squirrels outside. She watches them out the window and the other day they knew she was there and got brave and came up on the front porch. They sit in our pear tree out back and when she is outside, they throw pears down at her. They tease her so bad. I'm afraid i'm gonna have to put her on meds soon if they keep tourchering her. HAHAHA , its funny to watch them tho.

I'm in Chicago :-) I'm sure you will get fall colors a lot sooner than me. I used to go up to Wisconsin every fall and stay at a B&B during peak season.

It's been pouring this morning and the crazies are coming to the library. More than normal. One of my coworkers had a guy come up to her and say "It's nice when it rains, everything and everyone slows down"....she's like "Uh...ok". And then he said "Except my girlfriend - she only likes to have 'fast sex'"

well, not exactly sure, my son's version is that the school is out to get him...lol but i will get to the bottom of it!

Wow! I heard pretty much the same story yesterday from my son. I get to go to the school tomorrow to try to find out what their plot is.

Why can't I find the balance between sleeping and eating? I either get a normal sleep schedule (normal for me) or I am up and eating... but I can't get both... That happy girl that posted earlier this morning because she got a lot of sleep, is not suffering for the consequences of not getting up to eat and drink..... Help me

Happy Thursday everyone.

Today's supposed to be my last day at my summer position as THE credit card auditor. People are wearing their casual clothes working out of the warehouse... if they're thinking of asking me to stay to help them out -- I'm saying adios!

I look forward to a much needed relaxation! Haven't been kissed by the sun all summer (and I live literally 2 blocks away from the beach).

You work in a public library? I work at an academic library and am thinking about trying to get a job with the Queens Public Library system since I am sick of commuting every day, but when I hear some of the stories about working at a PL I am a little wary....

I love the library!!! The county public library is in my back yard and that just ROCKS!!!

PS Has anyone else tried the new Google chrome? IT's a new browser... I'm a Mozilla girl at heart, but this is actually pretty awesome and has the same cool features as Firefox!!! The embedded spell checker is actually better here!! Woohoo. You can get it on Google.com right under the search box they have the download link.

zaids shots went well...3 vaccines are now combined into one injection so he only got stuck twice rather than four times...

we are off to meet his potential babysitter in an hour...im excited!!!
