So I moved last weekend....

I moved last Sunday. I was just outside of Toronto, and moved to the Windsor-area. My boyfriend lives in Michigan, so it cut that drive down from 4 hours(with good traffic) to about 1 hour. I love it already. It's Wednesday, and I drove here after work & am going to drive back home in the morning. He spent the first night with me at my new place & we both look forward to seeing each other during the week & whatever weekend.

It was a big move for me to make, but I knew in my heart that it was right.

You're lucky your bf lives so close to the border, you are able to really spend a lot of time with him. Good for you!

Well I am glad you two are closer for now. I would have done the same myself if it was the situation. I was in Montreal and him in Chicago so there was really no way in being closer to the border.

Yeah, I'm really liking it. I don't work at home, but I can walk there, so it's close.

The most stress I had regarding the move was the months/weeks/days leading up to it. The move itself went very well. I thought I'd be a little more sad because I left all my family & friends, but I've got a positive mind set & this is a path I want to take.
