Hi, My wife is the US Citizen and I am the immigrant. Ideally she would come with me for my Biometrics appointment but she already made an appointment before we received the Biometrics appointment time/date. So, she wanted to know is she needs to go with me.

Thanks.

For biometrics, no.. it's a quick in/out process (10 minutes or so once it's your turn).

Nope. I don't intend to go in with my husband on Monday. I've been to 2 others and my presence was never needed.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

It's usually quick, 10 minutes depending where you live, Do not take your wife, it will raise more questions in their mind.

Three biometric appointments already, have taken my wife and daughter as it's a long trip. As the USC, okay if I go in with them as long as I stay out of their way. Have to fill out a hand written form, do not no why, already have that appointment form, but make sure your husband knows his name, address, and SS number. They should stamp his I-797C, should bring that back for proof he had his finger prints and picture taken, in case they lose it.

Something about a USCIS that makes small women nervous, could be all those armed guards, or they say their last name so fast, can't understand it.

If you need your spouse there to act as a translator, then yes, she needs to be there. Other than that, she will not be allowed into the building with you, because it is an appointment for just yourself, not the both of you.

I brought my husband as a translator, and they (ASC) accepted him. My husband always stayed with me while I was there (ASC). Good luck

She does not need to come unless she is driving you or translating, sometimes if the location is not busy they also allow the person in for company... my husband took me my biometric for the conditions application as it was out of town (3 hrs away) and he drove me there so i would not have to drive alone and since you can't have cell phones in there, he had to stay with me... when I did my AOS biometric he also came with me for company, but the place was packed so they were kind of reluctant.

If it s like me more recent biometric appt, it was very fast only like 5 people ahead of me at most and the fingerprinting took a few minutes
