I did have one great name though throughout highschool. My close friends called me Gentle Ben. Gentle Ben was a character in a few simpson's episodes. In one in particular he is supposed to be hosting a TV talk show but keeps attacking any one who comes near the food table. They called me this because I seem so calm until someone really pushes me and than I get very mad.

It stuck for about 5 years or so.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for sharing all your interesting stories about your names/nicknames on this message thread, which I enjoyed reading about.

On a similar note, speaking of names/nicknames, as I was reading these stories I was wondering too:

"What is the story/stories behind your online VJ name/nickname?"

My answer: "AntandD"=I'm "Ant" the wife and "D" is my husband...

Sprailenes comes from an internet name I have had for about 13 years now: Spiral~Daisy

People on message boards would call me Spiral, and if typed in fast would end up as "Sprail" a lot of the times, so people would call me Sprail, and I decided to add the "enes" because it gave it a feminine flair, much like a feather boa sans the actual feather boa. Yanno what I'm sayin?

nyhazmat....I live in NY and have been a hazardous materials responder for most of my working life...I use it for a lot of things and it is easy for mr to remember.

No longer in the hands of the USCIS, for my wife at least, next up MIL.

Mine is the TheATeam because our first names both start with A! It's kind of strange to think of having almost the exact same initials as him.

By the way, apparently there is a tv show called TheATeam, I had no idea there was when I picked this for a username. I've been contemplating changing it to TheEhTeam! ~giggles~ An homage to my Canadian heritage! :D

February 23, 2009- EAD and AP received in the mail, dated Feb 14th.

April 23, 2009- Welcome to the United States Letter arrives. Card to follow.

June 1, 2009- GC received in mail. Approval date 04/09/09

Done with USCIS until 04/2011!

I have no good nickname stories :)

Jennifer= Jen, Jennie, or Annie (middle name)

Patrick calls me Schatzi or Schnukiputzileinchen or Ach Jennie! (that's when I've done something particularly adorable ... ahem, stupid).

He has never been called anything but Patrick.

my nicname well its Lona since i was a kid ,

other then that I had a few nics like when I was real skinny and rode my roller blades ,

lol my son use to call me toothpick on wheels ,

then when i use to chat on msn I used the nic lil chit couse i got booted a lot for misbehaving , lol

and there where a few more that I cant realy remember now ( its early in the morning and got alzheimers ,lol )

but the nic i gave my kids since they where lil is ALIENS ( couse they always did stuff that was out of the ordinary ,lol )

they are 19 and 22 and I still call them aliens even when we go shopping and they walk away from me I call em hey aliens waite for me , hehehe the look on peoples faces has always been priceless

my husband calls me , baby , lil poopy , his lil chit (lol) , and few more cute nics ( love him to death :D )

hmmmmmmmmm from my family ........cupcake.......shortie........baby cakes........and mandy cuz my moms mothers name was sara and she just could not stand to raise her voice to me using the name sara so she took mandy from my middle name amanda......vj name estadia.......is from my yahoo chat id estadiaespor_amor.......(this day is for love).....so nothing exciting in these names lol
