Ah, stereotyping. Well, I will say this from my perspective, I don't care what a person believes and I have a particular fondness for the central themes and ideals of several religious denominations. However, if a person proposes that everyone should be taught a belief alongside a scientific theory (which as has been demonstrated isn't a theory in the day to day sense of the word, but acts as a predictable set of hypothoses which can be tried and tested and can be taken as a working principal at the very least) and expect me to believe that they are equally valid, I am going to question their judgement and their ability to reason critically.

nowadays just believing in god isn't enough, you have to be some sort of a zealot (or at least pretend to be). and it's not just president, no avowed atheist stands a chance of being elected dog catcher. Considering that statistically atheists tend to be better educated and having higher IQs (yes, it's a fact), that says a lot about where America is heading.

Ok, I'll take my university degree and my 136 IQ and my Christian faith back on home to Canada then, wouldn't want to skew the statistics.

It was said with a heavy dose of sarcasm, and yet with a sense of tiredness at the "Christian = intellectual blackhole" stereotype that has run rampant on VJ the last couple of days.

The massive amount of posts with the vitriol and hatred aimed at Palin tells me that they are in a panic. If she were so ho-hum and so inconsequential then why are there so many topics with so many posts? Why all the personal attacks? This is all so telling. The left is running scared.

May 7,2007-USCIS received I-129f
July 24,2007-NOA1 was received
April 21,2008-K-1 visa denied.
June 3,2008-waiver filed at US Consalate in Panama
The interview went well,they told him it will take another 6 months for them to adjudicate the waiver
March 3,2009-US Consulate claims they have no record of our December visit,nor Manuel's interview
March 27,2009-Manuel returned to the consulate for another interrogation(because they forgot about December's interview),and they were really rude !
April 3,2009-US Counsalate asks for more court documents that no longer exist !
June 1,2009-Manuel and I go back to the US consalate AGAIN to give them a letter from the court in Colon along with documents I already gave them last year.I was surprised to see they had two thick files for his case !


June 15,2010-They called Manuel in to take his fingerprints again,still no decision on his case!
June 22,2010-WAIVER APPROVED at 5:00pm
July 19,2010-VISA IN MANUELITO'S HAND at 3:15pm!
July 25,2010-Manuelito arrives at 9:35pm at Logan Intn'l Airport,Boston,MA
August 5,2010-FINALLY MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!
August 23,2010-Filed for AOS at the International Institute of RI $1400!
December 23,2010-Work authorization received.
January 12,2011-RFE

Well, actually many of them do. I would think you could recognize that perhaps the atheists/agnostics/freethinkers are the very ones who DO think differently. :whistle:
