ok can anyone explain why they didnt change the case dates that they are working on for the I129f at the california center? This is the second time they updated the info on the web site but the date for that catagory of visa hasnt changed yet.

Am i to believe that they arent doing anything with I129f's at this time due to the other things with the returned visa?

I think you answered your own question. Vermont even went backwards from what I could tell. Dont take too much by those dates or you will drive yourself nuts. All it does is tell you that the latest petition that an adjudicator is working on has that date. Most of the other adjudicators could still be working on petitions dated much earlier. With the IMBRA, all the service centers have slowed right up. Hopefully it should pick up again soon. 1100 returned petitions may seem a lot, but it is a drop in the ocean compared to the number of various petitions they receive.

All the best

gobdogman,

That would be a reasonable belief given the information from the DoS that has been posted. The USCIS is apparently still trying to implement the requirements of IMBRA, and until they get a process in place they cannot process petitions.

Another question if i might.

Being that i sent my petition in on april 20, which is after the imbra went into effect and i didnt send in anything regarding my past criminal activity or lack of.

Will this cause me delays and possibaly will i need to send in more info before they further process my petition?

And will they be sending the forms that i need or is it something they are still working on?

Seems to me if the imbra was passed into legislation in january they should have made the correct forms available at the 60 day grace period on the old system.

Maybe we should all get together and start a class action law suite against the govt. for being incompatant mindless dweebs.

There is not definate information on whether there will be extra forms to complete. All there has been so far is hear say from outside of USCIS. I imagine they will be quiet ept in conducting the necessary background checks through the various data bases that they have access to. Thats just my opinion. Only time will tell for certain.
