Hi Everyone,

I have my biometrics appointment later today. I was looking here for information about other people's experiences-- and suddenly realized that some have undergone the vaccines BEFORE the biometrics appointment. I received various vaccines when applying for my K-1 visa, but NOT HPV or any of the new requirements added on July 1st. It was my understanding that I should get these AFTER the biometrics, and my lawyer did not mention anything about this to me...

I know this is short notice, but please can someone help!

Thank you!

Your biometrics appt date has nothing to do with when you should get the vaccines.

The vaccines should hasve been completed (or at least the first shot in the series) before you sent your AOS forms. Technically, you are supposed to see a Civil Surgeon to determine what vaccines are needed, receive them, and have him fill out a I-693 form (incl. vaccination section) and mail that in with your AOS forms.

Did you not include form I-693 with your AOS application?
