Got IIN# today, whats next step?

hi guys, i got my IIN# this morning from a nice rep. she told me that it might not work, but still gave it to me. I dont know why she said that. now what is the next step? I have a lawyer who is helping us. do i go ahead and pay the AOS fee bill online, or give the money order or cheque to the lawyer? the lawyer told me to come in his office and bring a money order for $400 & $70 dollars. what do i do ?

Do NOT send it via the lawyer!

It will take about 10 days for them to receive it and process.

It's if the lawyer will send it today.

You can pay online AOS bill, in 2 days print out the barcoded cover page and send the AOS 864.

After they accept your 3032 they will generate IV bill that you should also pay online, and in 2 days you will be done, ready to send 230 !

The process is so fast, compared to 2X or 3X if you mail everything and wait for mail back.

so u r saying that, i should go ahead and pay the AOS fee bill and IV processing fee? it says that after fee is paid, continue to the Receipt page and follow the instructions for printing the DOCUMENT COVER SHEET. what does that mean? if i pay online today, its faster, and i dont have to go to lawyer and pay him.

If you have on the online payment system page both bills showing "not paid" and the page allows you to pay, you can pay both right away.

After you pay, in about 2 business days, log in again, you will see the bills showing "PAID"

click on the link to the "payment receipts" page

On the bottom of the payment receipts page you will see link "print cover page", click, print.

The printed cover pages will contain addresses and barcodes, you will have to include them in your document packages, ATTN: CMR-AOS with the 864 package

ATTN: CMR with the 230 package.

And you will be done!

You should make sure that the IV Bill is generated first, or it can delay your case!

Nita&Assad, my IV bill is generated. I can see it online, and it says not paid. I also see AOS Fee Bill. so can i go ahead and pay it?
