it's ok...just venting frustrations.. If I say anything at work..they just say, hey go ahead and drink, what does it matter anyway.... so I can't really vent here at work...

Less than two hours to go here. I'm not sure why but I was much more hungry all day today than I was the last two days. I ate a good Sahoor so I know that wasn't it. My Iftar wasn't really big and I didn't eat much of a late snack, but I thought I had enough. Oh well, I can make it these last two hours. Of course, I'm driving to the airport at the exact time that maghrib comes which is making me in a bad mood. Who schedules a flight without asking the person picking them up if that time is okay? I will miss the maghrib prayer and it will be 45 minutes after Isha before I get home, at least. Oh well, what can I do? I'll just make the prayers up when I get home.

I just saw that! It's really sad. He lived a long time though, which is nice :)

mikes hard lemonade gives me serious heartburn...

Today was a terrible day...worked 10.5 hours and my damn babysitter (my sis in law) told me "As of today she can no longer babysit zaid, bc her 2 yr old is jealous"...(thats a whole nother story) so that gives me 2 days to find a day care and come up with a week up front for the center...i promised myself i would never have him in day care and here i am with no other options, i have exhausted all other resources....

did you guys know day care is 60-70$ a day?? i probably shoudl just quit my damn job :(

I am sorry to hear that. I've heard how expensive day care can be. It is really ridiculous! Its like your paying someone's whole paycheck just for your kid.

Yeah, Ammar doesn't want anyone else to watch our kids, even his family... but practically, daycare is a major reason why I won't be working anymore when we have kids if things go as planned. I don't actually object to it, but it is soooo expensive!! You're right! It's like you may as well just be working for the daycare.

it gives me a good buzz :)

daycare costs sure does suck! the only thing that would could help if both parents worked opposite shifts but sometimes it's impossible for that to happen. sometimes you just have to bite the bullet with this one and when your baby turns 4, he can start preschool. it seems like a long way away but it comes quicker than you think ;) good luck

Or sooner if you can find a daycare/pre-school. I went to one and was basically in preschool from 2-on. We did all kinds of fun things including learning Yoga, reading, basic biology and math, and Spanish.
