Have you looked at timelines of others who have transited DR? DR is notoriously slow to interview, at least in the past. I have heard some experienced up to 18 months from consulate receipt to interview.... A quick glance at the VJ stats indicaates 407 days.

It took longer before but since last year the NVC is scheduling the interview instead of the consulate

so is much quicker. Does anybody know when is the deadline or cutoff date.

My package left NVC on August 22, I haven´t heard anything yet. The consulate is slow.

YMR, when they completed your case?

August 22-2008 but the Consulate is very slow here.

So if your case left on the 22nd it means you have an interview scheduled, give them a call.

I called now, App. is on Nov 5th.

Wow, that means my will be in December.

Maybe yours is for Nov too,there are only 3 days of difference between both applications. Nobody knows. I am going to request to reeschedule the appointment for next year. this way I can wait until my son ends the school. So I can take advantage of the 6 months range once they stamp the visa in my passport..

I called on Monday, Tuesday, yesterday and today....still no appointment date!!!!

They asked me to call them after 20th (that's when they scheduled for the following month interview) but both my husband and I are impatient (especially me...I am missing home) so I am calling them everyday to bug them.

I didnt, i think today is my last chance to get an october inteview if not i gonna have to wait for november or december i guess
