1-29 & 1-30 Approved, but having a hard time getting police reports from Saudi Embassy?

I am a bit concerned because we have been trying to get my husbands police reports for when he lived in Saudi Arabia, and the Saudi embassy still has not sent them 3 months later, and wont give a timeframe. If my husbands interview is coming up, will this effect our case?

Yes...that will be a problem. Would suggest trying to find an agent to get the PCC for your husband.

Not sure what the procedure is for Pakistani citizens, but for Saudis you have to be there in person.

Saudi citizens and third country nationals residing in the Kingdom process the police clearances by first obtaining a police clearance request letter from U.S. Embassy Riyadh, U.S. Consulate General Jeddah, or U.S. Consulate General Dhahran. This police clearance request letter, signed by a consular officer, must be attested by the Saudi Ministry of Affairs (current fee is SR30). The applicant must then appear personally with a passport-sized photograph and a national ID or residency permit at the regional Criminal Investigation Department for fingerprinting. Fingerprinting for women is done in a separate room. The police clearance should be available for collection after a week or two.

I feel your pain...delay on PCC is holding up our processing too.

well if ur husband's interview is coming and he still don't have the police clearance the US embassy would wait for it as additional documents. he can still go ont eh interview date specified without the police clearance and come abck later on to submit it when he have it..goodluck!

Step 1, you need to make sure that a 3rd party can get the documents for you.

Step 2, find out what you need to send the 3rd party so they can act on your behalf.

Step 3, start with your friends and family...see if they know someone in Saudi that can act as your agent.

Step 4, if that doesn't work...post here for a Saudi agent...somebody on VJ is either in Saudi or knows someone in Saudi.
