It's official...

I am thoroughly frustrated and upset over some of the events that have transpired over the last 48 hours. I might be taking a leave of absence.

Cheers...

Sheriif Uling.... I think there just might be some confusion over all of this. I for one have appreciated everything you have done for the Philippine Forum. The Guide you created has helped many here on VJ. The moving of the threads have created some confusion, but I will tell you this.. You have done a good job within this forum... Don't let a few opinions here destroy what you have worked so hard for... Keep up the good work!:thumbs:

 I agree. you've been around, while most have come and gone. your Manila Embassy Guide is one of a kind on VJ. There was been some confusion over what was happening, so I guess some members have taken their frustrations out on the moderators. I know you have always acted in the best interest of the Philippine Forum during the entire time you've been here. I can understand how feel. you hardly see any senior members now in the Philippine Forum. hopefully will still see you here. whatever you decide, thanks for all you have done.

Sheriff,

Based on our trade of PMs yesterday, I unequivocally aver that you are a good man and that you merit another star. I am a tyro to this site and these discussion boards but I discern what you have done for the wellbeing of the PI forum as manifested by the guide for Filipinos and by other concerns that you and I expounded in our PMs. So, hang in there, Sheriff ...... You da man!!!! :star::star::star:

Sheriff Uling,

I wholeheartedly concur with what Kiss Me a Lot states above. You and I also exchanged PMs last week and, based on that dialogue, I stand on my original thought that you are the man for VJ's Philippine section. Albeit your fingers are quick on the trigger, your soft heart beats everybody on the draw. So, please enjoy your Chardonnay and be less reserved and all things will be pleasant as they used to be. Bottoms up!!!!:thumbs::thumbs:

Congratulations, Yazi. What did Roy promise you? Was that a G320 ... or a Corolla? Hey, Roy - what happened to Daruma ... how come he announced his passing?

You can do it May! I was nervous at first too but my husband told me I had to try. I already drove twice in the interstate by myself the last few weeks and it felt good.
