I-864 questions

Hello All,

I have some questions, hope somebody can help.

1) For "Questions 23. My current individual annual income is". Are you supposed to enter your curren salary here? If you got a raise during some part of the year, your current salary should be entered. Is this correct?

2) Is it OK to submit just last year's tax transcript? I know the form says one year is OK. But, I want to know from the forum what do people normally do 1 year or 3 years?

3) I have filed for I-129F also. In the approval letter for I-129F petition for spouse, it has an A #. But, I-130 approval letter doesn't have an A #. This I-864 is for CR-1/IR-1 visa. Should I enter the A # from I-129F form in I-864 or keep it blank.

Thanks in advance.

Yes #23 is your income for 2007

you have to only send them 2007 taxes but three is better. The more they have the easier I believe to get a faster approval

1) Yes, you can have 2007's annual income. It can also be as current as 2008. In our case, 2005-2007 income didn't meet the requirement, so we have 2008 income as current income. We have the Jan-June 2008's income doubled and put down in question 23 as the current income.

2) You only need 1 year, include extra years only if previous years will help.

3) Write "none" if your spouse doesn't have an A#. A#=alien registration number, most people don't have, unless they were in US with resident status before.
