TODAY THE CONGRESSMANS OFFICE INFORMED ME THAT THE EMBASSY HAS JEAN AND I ON AR BECAUSE THEY DO NOT BELIVE OUR RELATIONSHIP IS REAL. I HAVE BEEN THERE TWICE IN THE PAST YEAR. SEND MONEY REGULARLY, SHE HAS MY ATM CARD, I PAID FOR BRACES ON HER TEETH, BOUGHT HER A NEW HONDA SCOOTER. WE HAD A CHURCH WEDDING WITH ABOUT ONE HUNDRED FIFTY PEOPLE PRESENT. HAVE HUNDREDS OF WEDDING PICTURES. PICTURES OF OUR HONEYMOON, PICTURES OF ME INTERACTING WITH HER FAMILY. I HAVE MET AND BEEN TO THE HOME OF THE MAYOR IN THE TOWN WHERE SHE LIVES.

I AM DISTRAUGHT, DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT THE EMBASSY HAS NOT RETURNED HER OASSPORT OR RETURNED OUR PAPERS TO USCIS.

Hi John,

If they are going to ask her for more evidence of genuine relationship, how about you make her as the beneficiary on your insurance, your last will and testament and other spouse benefits. Just be prepared to have the copies just in case the US embassy asked for it.

06/19/07 sent I-129F not waiting for noa1 but with printed online copies of checks cashed

06/25/07 check for I-129f cashed

06/29/07 transferred I-129f to CSC

07/03/07 received noa1 in the mail for I-129f

10/31/07 approved K3 and my I-130 except for my daughter

11/05/07 received NOA2 in the mail

12/01/07 received mail from NVC/yey we got our case number

12/20/07 went to St. Lukes and had my early medical exam

01/30/08 schedule for medical

02/07/08 interview, approved!

02/12/08 visa pick-up/cfo

02/14/08 POE-LAX

06/19/08 AOS mailed thru USPS

06/22/08 AOS delivered to Chicago IL

06/28/08 check cashed

06/30/08 received NOA1 dated 06/25/08

07/26/08 biometrics appointment

09/09/08 received EAD card in the mail

12/03/08 received interview letter for Jan 21 2009

01/21/09 approved for conditional permanent residence

02/02/09 permanent residence card arrived in the mail

10/21/10 submit form to remove conditions

01/21/11 10 year gc received

03/05/12 mailed my N-400

03/06/12 received email that they have my N-400

I know you said you have done all these things with your spouse and family, but what evidence did you show the Consul demonstrating proof of these statements. Airplane tickets? Photos? Receipts? I would assume all of those things, but if you did not present the factual proof like those items instead of statements only, maybe that was a problem. Its really difficult to guess what was in the Consul's head absent of some lacking evidence such as these.

As others have said, the fact they have kept her passport is a positive thing. Until they send back the passport, the game ain't over. Good luck!

Hang in there. Your petition has not been denied but only under scrutiny so be prepared with additional pieces of evidence that they might ask like what raquel_1208 mentioned.

Goodluck and keep your hopes high .

August 16, 2010 - Petition received by USCIS Vermont Center

August 20, 2010 - NOA1 received

October 4, 2010 - Biometrics

January 3, 2011 - Permanent 10 yr. Green Card Received.

Oh my, what other proof they needed from you guyz???

I think it's the CO who decided this AR thing....yeah others are right, who was the CO?

Was that the same CO who also made it difficult for others here?

I just thought and compare my case but mine was all right, you definitely got more proof to show than ours.

But TRUTH prevails, so in the end the AR will prove the genuineness of your love and marriage.

It just add more painstaking days of waiting like doc verification does. I hope your VISA will be granted in no time.
