TODAY THE CONGRESSMANS OFFICE INFORMED ME THAT THE EMBASSY HAS JEAN AND I ON AR BECAUSE THEY DO NOT BELIVE OUR RELATIONSHIP IS REAL. I HAVE BEEN THERE TWICE IN THE PAST YEAR. SEND MONEY REGULARLY, SHE HAS MY ATM CARD, I PAID FOR BRACES ON HER TEETH, BOUGHT HER A NEW HONDA SCOOTER. WE HAD A CHURCH WEDDING WITH ABOUT ONE HUNDRED FIFTY PEOPLE PRESENT. HAVE HUNDREDS OF WEDDING PICTURES. PICTURES OF OUR HONEYMOON, PICTURES OF ME INTERACTING WITH HER FAMILY. I HAVE MET AND BEEN TO THE HOME OF THE MAYOR IN THE TOWN WHERE SHE LIVES.

I AM DISTRAUGHT, DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT THE EMBASSY HAS NOT RETURNED HER OASSPORT OR RETURNED OUR PAPERS TO USCIS.

PLEASE HELP US

Hi John and Jean, I am sorry to hear what happened to your case. You have all the proof that's why it's crazy for them to doubt your relationship. I am not an expert on this but maybe you can call up the immigrant visa unit and clarify the info you got from your congressman's office. I hope that every thing will work out for you guys. You are in my prayers. God bless you!

HI sorry you're experiencing this...THere was no definitive decision yet, the case was still on AR, so let's just hope that everything will be fine. Once they reached their decision and if ever its a denial then thats the time that you can contest. Good luck and blessings

This is terrible. What transpired at the interview. I remember you saying it took all day and you were told to go home with no pink or white slip. With all that evidence how can they deny you. This seems very odd. Some details would be helpful.

This doesnt make sense to me. They are handing out K-1 visa left and right: couples that aren't even married (nothing personal my friends) and they decide to pick on a couple who are married. They made the commitment and they are a family.

Please dont get me wrong K-1s, I respect and honor your relationships. I just feel husbands and wives should be treated better than this.

This is horrible. How come these solid evidences were not enough to prove the marriage is not a fake? Anyways, Good thing to know they keep her passport john, don't worry she'll get her visa soon think about lostgurl18 case, as I recall her case was very complicated also and yet she still got her visa after almost 2 mos. im sorry to hear about this..i think with CR1/IR1 visas they are more strict with this since u would be entering America on an immigrant visa. good thing we ignored my CR1 approval and did the k3 eventhough it would cost more with AOS at least i won't have to undergo all the trouble.i have heard a lot of CR1 beneficiaries with too many complications.. the good thing is as long as they are holding her passport, u are still in line..so never loose hope! God bless and goodluck!

Love is an unexpected thing...and when it arrives grab it with all ur heart....it may pass u jsut once.......
