Is she even able to withdraw?

Of course.

Oh but she'd have to suffer the consequences... Earthquakes would sever Alaska and make it go 2.5 miles west. Our national integrity lies in the balance.

Come on hermano; get serious here. I really want to know if this is a possibility :bonk:

Yes its technically possible. I just think that doing something like that would potentially put down McCain's campaign in November.

I know --- that's why it coming up as a possibility was indeed quite surprising to me.

You know....I think I just had an epiphany. What if McCain actually wanted to lose the election? One big F##k You to the Republican Party for what they did to him in 2000? If so, this really was brilliant on McCain's part.

Interesting.

I guess that would mean the big joke would be on those few spiteful voters (c'mon, you can hear it in their voices when interviewed on TV) that are voting against Obama.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Naaaaaah -- that I don't believe, that he would loose on purpose.

If Bristol's BF would have withdrew, a lot of this conversation would have never started...

But seriously, the "will Palin withdraw?" crowd would like nothing better - so they can feel important and like they have accomplished something. Nothing more than a bunch of juicy gossip mongers.

I'm a Palin hater - but I would like nothing more for her, at the end of her VP speech, so say, "and for all those who think I should withdraw, I say, #### you!"

PEOPLE: READ THE APPLICATION FORM INSTRUCTIONS!!!! They have a lot of good information in them! Most of the questions I see on VJ are clearly addressed by the form instructions. Give them a read!! If you are unable to understand the form instructions, I highly recommend hiring someone who does to help you with the process. Our process, from K-1 to Citizenship and U.S. Passport is completed. Good luck with your process.

No, she won't withdraw. Enough with the silliness, already.

Picking her has been a net positive for McCain. The money that has come rolling in to his campaign in the last few days alone has made it worth it.

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.

McCain raked in $47 million last month

ST. PAUL—Republican presidential candidate John McCain raised at least $47 million in August, his biggest haul of money so far and a sign that he is dispelling doubts about his campaign among conservative donors.

One official said the campaign had raised $10 million since McCain announced Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate on Friday. Palin has emerged as a popular vice presidential candidate among social conservatives, who have eyed McCain with suspicion.

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.

The conspiracy theory I have is that Rove delibrately withheld disclosing Bristol's pregnancy so that left-leaning blogs and Andrew Sullivan would start twittering like a sewing circle and start acting like a$$es and insane freaks so that the Laura Ingraham and Bill O'Reilly could become morally indignant about attacking the children and the lives of ordinary Americans.

He probably didn't anticipate they would go as far as saying Sarah faked her own pregnancy though. That was the cherry on the cupcake.
