Hi everyone,

We are still waiting for NVC to send our package to Guangzhou consulate since June. I do call NVC every week and they told me takes 4-6 months until consulate gets the package.

I want to know If this is normal 4-6 months.

Maybe not for NVC to send but it is fairly standard for Guangzhou to take several months to receive it after it is sent....

Your timeline says NVC completed your case August 4. It generally takes 6 to 12 weeks for GUZ to take delivery of the case file. In the meantime, call the DOS visa information line for any updates to the case status. NVC is out of the picture.
