Hi all, I got a little behind due to waiting for my transcripts but im sending the AOS packet this afternoon, FINALLY!

I think im the first one doing this thread so hop in ! and share ur experiences ;)

Visa I 130 for Step Daughter

Sept 2010-- Getting documents ready. sent BC out for translation.

March 1st 2012-- Sent documents to USCIS

June 15th 2012 EMAIL OF APPROVAL !!

Dec 15th 2012 -- Interview scheduled ( 1-23-2013)

Jan 9th 2013--Medical Exam

HI there.. I will definitely file my AOS this month. Makes me a September filer! I wanna ask... what I-765 form you submitted? I am waiting for the new version coz I am afraid of RFE. YOu think its ok to use the old form which expired last August 31,2008!

yes I didnt want to wait any longer, it says on the USCIS page that they will take the version updated in may, worse comes to worst, they will send an rfe and u just send that to them updated and theres not really a big delay, i sent that one i dont think they will put in a new one soon, it takes a while for them to make changes sometimes, and i didnt want to wait =)

Hi all!! We sent off our AOS this afternoon! Now the waiting begins. God willing my husband will get the biometrics and EAD quickly, he is going stir crazy with no work. If there is a list for AOSer's please add us in :-).

Finally sent off our packet yesterday - it should get there by noon today!

And now the wait begins....blegh....

From the USCIS webpage: (update from aug 18)

The correct version of the Application for Employment Authorization (Form I-765) is dated 05/27/08.

That one says expires aug 31 in the corner. but I think they mean the old version not that version so you should be okay.

Hey guys, hope everything is going okay for all of you september filers, try not to worry!

I got all three NOA1's today in the mail (I-485, I-765, and I-131). I was wondering, it says that the mail came from Lee's Summit, MO. will that be where they will send me for the biometrics/interview? or is that just the general noa issuing place?

cause... theres like a whole state in between me and MO... kind of a hassle. If anyone knows about that please inform me. :)

I haven't tried to put my info in the system yet, but I will try it soon. good luck everyone!

Looks like we have two threads for September filers (or fillers depending on who you ask! :wacko: )

Can anybody merge them together so we have one big party instead of two small ones for September? :dance:

09-30-2008 - Biometrics walk-in -- in and out in 20 minutes!!!

10-09-2008 - Biometrics appointment 12pm at Norfolk, VA office (for reference only)

12-01-2008 - Advance Parole notice sent

12-12-2008 - NOA for interview

12-31-2008 - Touch

02-17-2009 - Interview - Green Card approved!

Lets make this one the BIG one... the other one wa screated in july for september?! doesnt make sense!

Anyhow I havent tried to add my case online again, i ll let u know later..

This is exciting i have a friend who applied in June and already got the approved letter and NO interview!!! thats fast!!!!!!!!!!!
