medical at SLEC

hi!

i just finished my medical today (sept 2) at slec, i just want to share you my experience, though, i'm not gonna write my whole medical experience, just few important points.

1. requirements. (a) passport and photocopy of passport (B) old passport © medical records - bring all your medical records or medical certificates, ultrasound (if you have any), pap smear record, any documents related to your medical history (d) immunization record - need 2 copies of immunization record (e) 3 visa photos appointment letter pages 1 and 2 - original and photocopy (g) old xray film (h) black pen

2. examination. on the first day, as i arrived, i showed my passport and appointment letter to the guard, he gave me forms and flowchart of the procedure. hindi naman kailangan step by step yung examination, pwede kahit ano mauna its either laboratory, xray and physical exam, but ang last ay immunization interview.

on the 2nd day, since my results are all ok, the guard asked me to proceed to the immunization. after my immunization, they released results.

note: if may problem sa medical, you will be asked to have additional exams. if walang problem, 2 days lang ang medical. if you are asked to have immunization, it means no problem na. for the children, they are required to have tuberculine skin test (TST), if positive, they will be asked for x-ray. for adults, it depends sa physical and immunization interview kung mag-required sila ng TST.

3. ask and observe. don't be hesitant to ask, mas mabuti na yung sigurado. be observant para malaman mo kung may mali sa ginagawa mo.

4. waiting time. as i observed, at least 2 hours ang waiting time per exam, except laboratory. sa x-ray, i waited almost 6 hours kasi 1 x-ray machine ang ginagamit nila, because they are updating the other machines, wala na kasing xray film, nasa CD na ang result ng xray.

5. know all your details. you should know your passport number and case number. sa form pala, may question regarding sa petitioner (name, address, contact number). look for your scar ng chicken pox, kasi hahanapin sa immunization interview, if no scar, they will give you immunization for chicken pox. and sa mga girls, you should know your first day and last day of your last period.
