Guys, Need your help..

I had applied for my spouse CR-1 visa, which was approved through DCF in June. We both travelled to USA in month of July. After 3 weeks due to come family emergency we had to make a trip back to India, and till that period we had not received any notification from USCIS in regards to my husband's GC & SSN cards. The day we were heading out to leave we received a letter stating that my husbands Biometrics are missing, and he has to go through infopass to make an appointment. That was a Saturday, and knowing that their is a filed office open on Saturday we drove their and explained our situation. Kind security officers agrees to take him without an appointment, and put a stamp of Biometrics received on the letter.

That was a month ago, still we have not heard from the embassy in regards to information received, nor anything.

We are still in India, and plans are to head out in November end.

The below is what is stated on the website for the status of the case

Receipt Number: SRCXXXXXXXX

Application Type: OS155A, IMMIGRANT VISA AND ALIEN REGISTRATION

Current Status: Case received and pending.

On August 4, 2008, we received this OS155A IMMIGRANT VISA AND ALIEN REGISTRATION, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when yours will be done. This case is at our TEXAS SERVICE CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

Also, his Temproray Immigrant Visa sticker in Passport expires in December. With no green card in hand, can he travel to states with that stamp AGAIN?

Appreciate your help

I called the embassy, and they are not able to provide any further information then stated on their website.

We are heading out next month to sort this out, and come back to India. We have no option but to traevl and back and fro with all the issues.

I am surprised that no one has had their cases pending such as ours.
