Hi,

Could someone point me in the right direction regarding NVC. My parents I-130 is with NVC and they have requested Mine i:e the petitioner's Marriage certificate and Birth Certificate... I am kinda confused cause i thought the I-130 has already been approved by USCIS? Thanks in Advance

Give them EXACTLY what they asked for ASAP.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

They are asking your (petitioner's) marriage and birth certficate to establish legallity of your relation with your parents. NVC probably wants to check that people you are applying for are really your parents. Birth cert. and marriage cert. would establish this relationship because they usually contain names of parents.

I got married in the US and they dont have parents name and i dont have Birth certificate from India cause it was never registered.Any help???/

I got married in the US and they dont have parents name and i dont have Birth certificate from India cause it was never registered.Any help???/

It doesn't matter where you got married, they just want to make sure you're not petitioning another person not related to you. Your marriage certificate will prove you're already married to someone else and the birth certificate will prove your relationship to your parents. It's the best way to prove that. You have to have something from India because it was needed for your immigrant status when you first came to the US.
