On 8-27-2008, I am officially a US Citizen.

Below is my N400 Timeline:

5/8/2008 - Mailed N400

5/13/2008 - NOA

5/29/2008 - Biometric

7/24/2008 - Interview

8/27/2008 - Oath Ceremony

I am very happy that it is over. Now I am preparing to obtain US passport and for my children too. Wish everyone out there Good Luck.

Lastly, thanks everyone who posted precious information on this website.

Wow - that gives me hope. I know the local field office always seems to have time on their hands. With any luck, the service centers will move us up to the front of the line (:

PEOPLE: READ THE APPLICATION FORM INSTRUCTIONS!!!! They have a lot of good information in them! Most of the questions I see on VJ are clearly addressed by the form instructions. Give them a read!! If you are unable to understand the form instructions, I highly recommend hiring someone who does to help you with the process. Our process, from K-1 to Citizenship and U.S. Passport is completed. Good luck with your process.
