hey guys, im expecting an approval or some kind of movement from our case any day now and im crazily going through in my head anything that may result in an RFE for us.

On the I129F it aks for an I94 number. Long story but i lost my I94 card last summer when i went to the USA. I have since gone to visit sucesfully 3 more times with no questions... but because id lost the card i couldnt fill in when the I129F asked for the number. Does this matter? Did anyone else leave it blank who got approved??

Argh this process makes you crazy haha :blink::whistle:

OK...i cant exactly remeber what i put. Could have just left it blank so i guess it depends on the officer whether he/she wants to be pidantic or not.

Did you put NA even though youd been to the USA before?

I'm confused. K-1 visa, you lost your I-94 which should have been stapled in your passport? You visit three more times successfully? On a K-1 visa? Something is missing...

I lost my passport summer 07. I replaced it whilst i was in the usa as i was there for 5months and so had time to do this. I have visited on VWP 3 times since this incident and there have been no issues at POE.

I filed for K1 visa AFTER i got my replacement passport and so the passport number ect i had to put on the forms is correct. I just wondered if they would need I94 number because i dont have it.... but thinking about it, i guess a lot of people probs have to leave it blank as they give the I94 back when they leave and i imagine very few make a note of this number

That portion of the I-129f is referring to a beneficiary who is in the country at the time (which if so, they would have an I-94) - otherwise most people fill in "N/A" but am sure many have left it blank and been successful. I wouldn't sweat it - they're not asking for a previous I-94 number.

were you in the usa at tilme of filing, i was when we were filling it in and we were expecting to post it before i left so we filled it in. he posted a few days after i left in the end. i think if you were not in the usa at time of filling you should be ok. no? as i thought that was the only purpose of that question. to establish if and why the fiance/ee was there at filing?

As far as I remember, they only wanted your I94 number if you were in America AT THE TIME of the petition. You haven't been back 3 times since then, have you? If you were not there at the time, then you should have put N/A like someone said above. They dont need to know all the I94 numbers from the past.... you have no way of knowing them, as they take them from you at the airport...

If you loose an I94 and they dont take it from you at the airport, then they have no record of you leaving, and you are classed as an overstay. You might be lucky to have returned after that, but it may catch up with you in the visa process. My sister didn't turn hers in at the airport once, and she had to send proof of departure to an address n the states. This is the information for London:

On an I-195f for a K-1 Visa, normally, you wouldn't have a I-94 yet. So blank or n/a is less likely to raise questions.

I don't recall it asking for an I-94 number, but it might if filed for a K-3, concurrently with an I-485...

I'd look if I was really interested.

Yep I did. I could have written it down but didn't think I would need to for any reason. It's no big deal.

hmmm i wasnt in the USA at the time of filing, i just hope we didnt misinterpret that question and think we had to put something, like i last arrived as a visitor, and think we had to put that regardless of whether or not i was in the usa, as this may raise a few eyebrows.

Urgh so long ago i cant remeber, Can only hope and wait i guess......

I suppose this might cause a question? Why? My spouse didn't get the option to be here before all the BS was done, but that's life. Maybe I'm lucky, no strange questions!

It should be easily answered! After all, what are questions for, but to be answered! USCIS and State, these people are people too. (Well, most of the time, most of them are people!)

Same as everywhere...

i think she is concerned that if she did put something down thinking that they had to even though she was not in the usa at the time, that it might raise a few eyebrows. not the not being there itself but if they mis answerd.
