what may I ask is a Canadian accent?? all Canadians don't sound the same just like all Americans don't sound the same :P:lol:

to me that sounds like a Minnesota accent :P

Actually, if you listen to the real Sarah Palin her accent does sound somewhat Canadian. The Vlog has done a really good job of sounding just like her voice wise.

Kind of a weakend british accent. I have lots of canadian relatives, and they definitely sound canadian! I have noticed that people in Minnesota and Wisconsin sound like that too, and wonder why? People in Bellingham WA don;t sound like canadians and they are just as close! :unsure:

Actually, the town that Mrs. Palin comes from in Alaska was originally inhabitated in the 1920's with a group of colonists from Wisconsin and Minnesota with the intent of starting an agricultural center for Alaska. Part of the New Deal, I believe. Many of them still have direct descendents living in the area today...lots of Swedish names and a lot of the midwest accents...think Fargo (the movie). Also lots of attractive blonde ladies, but I digress...

Not sure if Palin belongs to that original group of folks, but the midwest accent isn't completely foreign up here...

7/14/2008 Interview in Montreal!!!!

7/17/2008 Visa received

7/18/2008 POE Sault Ste Marie Michigan

8/21/2008 moving day...back to Anchorage, Alaska!

4/20/2009 AOS granted, 10 year Green Card arrives, Social Security # given :)

my point is that there is no distinct Canadian accent.... just like there is no distinct American accent....

all Canadians don't sound the same just like all Americans don't sound the same...
