I have completed the I-864 Packet being sent to NVC and I just wanted to confirm if I was missing anything or not. Here is my checklist.

1. I-864 EZ Cover Letter

2. I-864 EZ filled out and signed and dated

3. I-864 Barcoded Sheet (printed after AOS bill status shows 'PAID' online)

4. Tax Transcripts for last 3 years

5. Employment Letter from employer

6. Last 6 months' paystubs

7. Copies of W-2 from last 3 years

I am going to write case no. on all pages. Address where I am sending this packet is:

National Visa Center

ATTN: CMR - AOS

32 Rochester Avenue

Portsmouth, NH 03801-2909

Questions:

1. Do I have to send photocopies of tax-transcripts or originals as we received it from Internal Revenue Service?

2. Do I have to send photocopies of paystubs or original paystubs?

3. Do I have to send proof of citizenship?

thanks,

CS

You need only last year's tax returns. If your employer's letter tells how much you earn per year, paystubs are not necessary. Proof of citizenship is helpful.

I put one barcode sheet on top of everything and then one after the cover letter. Probably overkill, but better safe than sorry.

Your questions:

1. Send originals...make copies for yourself.

2. Original paystubs, again make copies for yourself.

3. No.

I would also put each W2 before the corresponding year of the tax transcript.

another quick question....if there is anything like quick question :)

Did any of VJers who filed I-864EZ have any problem getting approved? I meet all the conditions require to file I864EZ, but I just want to make sure.

I didn't read anywhere in the instrunctions about sending proof of citizenship. Is this recommended, required or neither????
