POE HAWAI'I or LAS VEGAS??

Hi,

My wife will take a flight on Hawaiian Airlines from Manila to Hawai'i, change plans, and then from Hawai'i to Las Vegas.

Will she go through customs in Hawai'i or Las Vegas?

TIMELINE: (CR-1)

06/02/06: Introduced

02/23/07: Engaged

08/07/07: Married

11/15/07: I-130 Submitted

1/24/08: Received

3/24/08: APPROVED

04/21/08: Letter from NVC, $70.00 Bill

05/27/08: I-864 Packet Sent

05/30/08: Choice of Agent E-mail Accepted (9 dys)

06/02/08: IV Bill Paid Online

06/05/08: DS-230 Requested

06/02/08: I-864A RFE Generated

06/09/08: DS-230 Received

06/13/08: CASE COMPLETE (7 mo)

08/01/08: HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

08/06/08: Medical: PASSED

08/14/08: Interview: APPROVED!

08/15/08: Visa Pick-up

ALSO....... My wife has a 4 hour layover in Hawaii. Will she have enough time to go through customs and catch her connecting flight?

Hi, she will go thru customs in Hawaii. Your POE is the first landing of the country you are immigrating to. If she flew straight from Manila to Las Vegas, then Las Vegas would be her POE.

She will have enough time to get to her flight. 4 hours is plenty of time. Only takes about 1 hour to go thru customs.

plus, they said hawaii customs and immigration officers are really nice!! according to jegu_ryo..have a safe trip!

Love is an unexpected thing...and when it arrives grab it with all ur heart....it may pass u jsut once.......

06.26.08 : medical exam 2nd day PASSED!!

08.01.08 : POE SFO (home with my papi!)

Be sure she hand carries her Xrays as Honolulu frequently asks for them. Pain in the "da kine" if she has them in her luggage.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship
