Hi All,

aNyone has any experiences that they receive their temp EAD @ POE and send in the necessary AOS & EAD application and still receive the EAD before the temp EAD expires (after 90th day?)???

I am trying to figure if its worth it to fly via JFK at POE!?

THanks for any advice!

This is a topic I have been following very closely as it is the situation I have found myself in.

I can only say that from what I have seen that recently I have seen only 2 people get their 1 yr EAD before the 90 day stamp runs out. On the whole it simply doesnt happen.

Considering it takes 90 days to process (or until you can make an infopass) it very rarely happens. You would have to send the AOS application the same day as arriving and also get married that same day. Considering this means having all of the paper work filled in, evidence collected, marriage licence and getting the official marriaige certificate it is very unlikey you would be able to do this

My wife received the 90 day EAD stamp in Vegas and, of course, it expired before the 1 year EAD was mailed to us. We even filed EAD and AOS paperwork immediately after she arrived. The process is absurd.
