of course the interior decorator agreed with wifey that all of it was a big no. :blink: can you beleive that!?

so now we are getting new furniture. including a chair that has some tiger design. :unsure:

you should have a talk with charles and convince him that he should do just like you, and have his wife get rid of all the fugly furniture and re-decorate the entire house. that's how a good husband is supposed to be.

Our old house in England had orange walls in the living room - well, technically it was "African Adventure." Personally, I loved it but I like deep jewel tone colors. It gave the room "warmth" if you know what I mean. It was all the work of sis-in-law, who had a flair for design. So the orange could be good.

Not sure about the tiger design - I might need pictures to be sure.

yeah, to me the orange was lively. white walls are no fun.

so now we have mostly "oatmeal" wit ha splash of "cinnamon" (one wall). the furniture is a dark wood. so the tiger design for that one chair (light and dark brown colors) "connect" the room colors. maybe, i will post picture. especially if you are nice to me.

that's the thing about moving to the house of the person you're getting married. If we got married and started our new home, í wouldn't have a decoration problem. I most definitely wouldn't decorate exactly the way I wanted, cuz I'm not a celebrity and I can't afford it, but I would use neutral colors that match, wouldn't have a fish hung in the wall and wouldn't have a half naked woman painting in my wall, that's for sure.
