Can someone please give me a figure friendly recipe for chicken? I bought some chicken, no idea why I thought it would be a good idea. And now I don't know what to do with it. The only idea I have is Marilyn's mustard-breaded chicken strips in the oven. But I would rather have some chicken in some kind of sauce I think. Hmm...why did I buy freaking chicken...

I have a recipe that uses tomato sauce and Italian Dressing.. and you serve it over pasta... if you want it I can go dig it up...

Thanks Marilyn. I make a pretty good tomato sauce, but somehow I can't see chicken to go with it really. I might just make your chicken mustars strips with veggies, they sounded good! How long do you bake them for?

trust me this is good.. you should try it ...:P

equal amounts tomato sauce and Italian dressing ( I use light and zesty italian dressing) (i did about 3/4 cups of each) and oregano and I added some onion and bell pepper , throw in some chopped up chicken breast (I used about 3 chicken breasts).. throw it all in a casserole dish and bake it until chicken is cooked... and then you can mix in some Parmesan cheese..

you could also use zucchini instead of bell pepper if you want...

depends on the size...but about 20 minutes or so... longer if they are bigger

nah, you don't have to make it  just letting you know that it is good.. I love italian dressing it adds zip to sauces and marinades...

20 minutes, a bit longer if they are bigger... just dunk the chicken breast in your favourite mustard and then roll in bread crumbs.. I use Italian bread crumbs but you could use plain ones and spice them up however you want...
