my hubby informed me yesterday that he asked for this Friday off because it is his Birthday... he hasn't heard yet if he can take it off...

it sucks because I have to work on Friday :P

it will be interesting to see how my hubby handles being by himself all day... he goes a little stir crazy when I leave for just an hour or so... :P

they dont give him his bday off?? or at least pay him for bday pay??

no....

at his last job he got 2 personal days plus a Birthday personal which he didn't necessarily have to use on his Birthday...

Marilyn I just noticed at the bottom of the main page that you put your hubby's bday..but it says Sept 18th which is thursday. lol I noticed because me and hubby's 4th wedding anniv is Thurs the 18th. :luv:

But he is taking off Fri?

My mom's bday is also the 19th and two other people I know too. Popular day!

yeah my ex best friends Birthday is on the 19th too..

hubby's brother's Birthday is on the 18th and his girlfriend's Birthday is on the 20th I think

Ok that's weird, I didn't open it up but when I put my mouse over it, it says Sept 18th and when you open it, it says 19th.

My dad's is on the 22nd... :lol: It's an expensive month with our anniversary, and a bunch of birthdays.

my brother's bday is the 20th!! saturday...

ohh.. i c.. here at work u get off your birthday.. and get paid for 8 hours holiday pay.. if its on the weekend u can't roll it to fri or mon, but still get paid

yeah that is weird.. hmm strange.. and my hubby is going to be 27 not 26...

for our family from March to May is very busy... my Dad's Birthday is March 14th, a brother's Birthday is April 3rd, another brother's Birthday is April 29th, my little sister's Birthday is May 11 and my Birthday is May 20th.. and then you throw Easter and Mother's day in their too.. it is a pretty busy couple of months... :wacko:

we do have a free coupon for Coldstone Ice Cream that they gave him for his Birthday, so we will probably go there at some point on the weekend..

Oooh, we had Cold Stone this weekend. Coffee lovers only, ftw!

we will probably have some kind of chocolate concoction, as that is hubby's favourite... the coupon is for a free Love it size, Signature creation ice cream... I figured we could share it.. on my Birthday I got a free ice cream but hubby wanted his own :P, we barely finished them ...:P
