it's so hot in my bedroom and I can't sleep because of it...I want to cry because I'm so freaking tired

This might sound silly but I do two things to help

1) put my feet in the bath and let the water run over them just above the ankles

and

2) turn a fan directly over me in the bed, having got a spray bottle of water and sprayed it over the sheet so it is damp

Then everytime I wake up I just grab the spray bottle and damp down the sheet again.

Sorry if this doesn't help.

oh wow I'm getting a spray bottle. i still can't figure out why the hell my bedroom was so freaking hot last night. thanks mel!

I think there should be a ban on mentioning christmas from January to Thanksgiving.

good morning everyone!

They are still working on our house. Tiles in bathroom almost done. Toilet is still out of the bathroom near the living room. Well a nice surprise was that they are also painting the bathroom, which we didn't know about. We wanted to paint it a new color soon, so this gives us much less work. I got to pick out a color. I picked a light yellow.

Christmas is great, but why does it continue all year round. My soon to be father in law puts a wreath up in December and then it stays up until it dies and goes brown!!!!!

We were one of those houses growing up that sometimes left our Christmas lights up way too long...didn't turn them on of course but took forever to take them down. lol

Yeah Christmas shouldn't last all year.

That's a lot for the jury stuff. I got called for jury duty while in college and all I had to do was show my class list in an email to them and I was excused.
