OMG, I'm your grandma!!

it's gonna be fun ignoring charles excuses not to have christmas decoration after the baby is born, cuz no matter what, you can't deny a child christmas.

so far the excuses are the cats, the electric bill, that hanging stuff damages the house and it makes it hard to sell, etc

place the tree in a corner or somewhere where you can string fishing line from the tree (about 1/2 way up the tree) to a secure spot (wood trim in doorway, window, etc). Use two separate lines to create two opposing attachment points. The cats will need to work harder to knock the tree over

they have this one crazy guy named Riley on the Howard show. he does a one hour show each week ... they even set it up that he can do the show from his home... he gets 400 bucks a show...and every time his contract comes up he begs for more money because he thinks what he makes isn't very much...

he makes about 1600 bucks month for working 4 hours...

My tree is filled with ornaments my kids made. I love it.

I'm trying to convince Patrick we need to put a pickle ornament on our tree...even though everyone says it's a German thing, and no German I've ever met has ever heard of it

to be honest, i don't care much about decoration, i think it's a pain in the a$$ to hang all that, but I remember it was somwething importatn when i was a chuld, I can't imagine not having one because my dad was too cheap.

1. Go home.

2. Gloat about publication to redheaded husband

3. Take pictures of Self with book in different poses.

4. Email pics to father saying: "there, carry this one in your wallet: it's me and my baby" and same picture to all female cousins who are pretty and have kids with note: "so when are you having one of THESE?"

5. LOL at both circumstances, open a Dr. Pepper and smoke.

6. Sleep cradling book.

7. Wake up for middle nighter with said redheaded husband.

Cyah tomorrow.
