my hubby is barbecuing some chicken that I did up with some mustard and then sprinkled some Emeril's chicken essence mixed with brown sugar on it...

in other news.. hubby and I watched the Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy this afternoon.. that is one strange movie but it was kind of funny..

I made some clams with garlic, butter, shallots, parsley and some dry white wine. Popped them in with some linguini and some burst grape tomatoes. YUM YUM!

Oddly enough, I have done that before too. It's a big pain to clean up, especially if it got on the the couch like mine did.

My house looks weird/cool right now. There is plastic covering the walls and doorways in half of the house, and painting canvas covering the floors. They are doing work inside related to sinkhole repairs. They are fixing some small hairline cracks on the ceiling and redoing it in some areas(to the same ugly popcorn look). They are also tiling in the main bathroom, the wall tiles, which is exciting because the tile is ugly right now. I am confined to the bedrooms with Kavi. If I was a kid I would think my house looked awesome with the weird plastic everywhere. Reminds me of ET. Sujeet was here and left a little late for work, and he took pictures of how weird it looks and the guy working laughed at him. lol.

I only got 4 hours of sleep last night and I am really starting to feel it now. I just couldn't fall asleep and then had to be up early to get things ready before the people arrived at 7:30am to start inside the house. Why do they have to start so early? I feel yucky.

What a wonderful Monday!

I just bought a new camera, the camera I had a crush on for months. Somehow I never bought it, something made me hesitate. But I just went to the store and bought it.

Now I sit here, twist the lens back and forth and keep on saying: OMG it's so good, it's so good! Awesome awesome awesome.

I think I waited that long, so I could be really thrilled about it. OMG it's awesome.

Freaking awesome!
