I am sucked up at work kids. The deadline is getting closer and closer and we are nowhere near to being finished. We are currently building a direct savings bank for Germany, and that means my three colleagues and me, and launching it for a test run on Monday and nation wide incl. press conference and nationwide marketing in two weeks. They are working on the banking and ICT part, I am busy with the organisational and marketing part, for example writing and proof reading brochures and all kinds of matierial we are sending out to our future clients (like a welcome package for people who created an account online) as well as writing the texts for the call center hotlines and getting them producted and then implemented by the ICT firm responsible for the data transfers and call center and stuff like that. Plus we have Internal audit on our a$$ and they want to see every freaking contractual paper and they want to know everything, so they are not exactly speeding things up.

We are expecting about xx.xxx accounts being created in the first 5 working days, so the entire system has to run smoothly. We had a decent start in the the bank's home country with it and fingers crossed ze Tshermans are going to be giving their money to an, in Germany, unknown foreign merchant bank. Times are hard and people rather withdraw money instead of putting it into banks - we'll have to see how we go. We have a two digit million marketing budget for the next two years, so we'll try everything possible.
