Unlike in America, there are no other holidays inbetween over here. No Helloween, no Thanksgiving. All I have is Christmas. And that's what I am holding on to.

For Thanksgiving I am going to cook a traditional roast goose, if I can get one in Char. With potato dumplings and red cabbage. For Christmas (Pedro is coming to Germany to be with me and my family) we are going to have cheese fondue.

My scale predicts weight gain for November/ December

sauerkraut tamales, and habanero wursts with tons of beer... and enchiladas of course, muchas enchiladas

Mmmmm cheese fondue, yummy!

I don't know yet. Usually I do a turkey for Thanksgiving and a Ham for Christmas, but I'll be alone this year.

I may go over to my daughter's grandparents house though, haven't decided.
