Good Morning kids!

It's 6am over here and I had a baaaaad night of sleep - a mosquito kept attacking me and I have a couple of bright red bites on my legs. Evil thing! Plus I had really bad shoulder pain again and took some painkillers and they gave me a night of restless sleep.

Hanna might hit the Carolinas on Friday/ Saturday - let's hope it hits, so I can't fly out. It's so nice being away from home, I really don't feel like going back but of course I have to.

I forgot to inform you all about Pedro buying a balut egg the other day at the Vietnamese supermarket. For those you blanked out the memory of what it is, it is a fertilized duck egg with a nearly-developed embryo inside that is boiled and eaten in the shell. Super gross actually. I threw a semi fit when he bought it and "advised" to wait until I am gone before he eats it. It's been sitting in the fridge since then.

Julie, sorry to hear about the shoulder pain. I hope it goes away soon! And I'm with you - as much as I'd love to say I'm open to trying new foods, I'd have to draw the line at a balut egg.

I only have a week and a half of work left! Eep!
